  1. Having made it through Spring training- I decided to take a look at the incoming signing class and identified 8 players that due to positional need, injury or other factors could make an immediate impact for us this season.

Less than a month after it was announced that he and another former four-star recruit were leaving Texas, Darius Terrell has found himself a new collegiate football home and, conveniently enough, it doesn't require moving out of state. The tight end, who will play wide receiver with his new team, confirmed to the Denton Chronicle that the new team will indeed be North Texas.   4. Vito released the two deep and there were a few surprises on it. I'm frankly surprised there haven't been more discussions regarding "Oz" being place ahead of McNulty post spring. It appears that Oz is starting to understand Coach Chico's system better. Frankly we may need both since Derek has battled injuries since he got here. In terms of eligibility, I think that Derek is a junior and will have two more years, Oz will be a junior and McNulty will be a sophomore but has a redshirt year left. If Oz could fill the #2 spot for us that might allow McNulty to get that redshirt year he missed back.
