I like 35-28 North Texas.  I think the teams are fairly well matched talent wise.  I’m hoping the necessity of travel and the oppressive heat will be the difference late in the 3rd and into the 4th qtr.  Standing for 3 hours looking into the Texas sun in 100 plus heat on artificial turf is going to be tough on kids from northern California.  I hope so:  GO MEAN GREEN

I have wondered if there were any plans to install seat back “rails” on the seats in the lower bowl.  Unless I’m mistaken there are no seat backs provided in all of DATCU stadium (except those purchased with season tix).

I like the icy white helmet and uniform.  I also like the reverse helmet in green with white feathers.  And for me, the lime green Hayden Fry “stylized eagle”  is an all time favorite.  I don’t care for the black or grey helmets in any combination.

Yesterday, Coach Morris told a packed Hub Club that they had a device that would measure the temperature 12” above the carpet.  Coach M said the temp was 177 !  That’s 35 degrees from boiling.  
 

That extreme temperature could keep a (sane) fan away.  On the other hand, the high in Berkeley was 65 or so.  
 

The heat that will help us on the field will hurt us in the stands.
