Let me ask a sincere question. Abu started the season here, was therefore enrolled, and was playing as late as March. Then he stopped playing for a family emergency. I understood he went back to New York. Is he still in school ? If he went to NY, did he come back to finish the semester ? If not, could he transfer with an “incomplete” for spring classes ?

This post is similar to the one I posted on the football board. There should be a “garage sale” for former coaches to sell their Mean Green gear. Everybody knows the coaches get the best North Texas wearables. When they no longer have use for it, make it available to us on down the food chain. Shoes too.

North Texas didn’t support Grant the way we should have. Our issue is not that the Coliseum is too big. The problem is that we don’t bring more people to the games. And the notion of building a smaller facility because we don’t draw well is absolutely ridiculous. It was said that Hayden Fry left to go to Iowa for the same reason. He wanted bigger crowds and didn’t see those numbers changing. Think about that next time NT has a home game and there’s a good TV show on. I hope we support Coach Hodge.

What is that green glow I see toward the NT campus ?

What a great win. I was actually thinking about what time the bus rolls into the Coluseum. Or wherever they unload.

Does anyone know when they will come home ? Win or lose (win) I’d like to greet them off the bus.

The place needs a top to bottom deep cleaning and some professional maintenance. The design is unique and fits well in the Las Vegas scene, but when I was there the Luxor looked like it was closing the next day. The “inclinators” still surprise as they lift riders sideways. Eliminating smoking in this hotel-casino would go a long way toward improvement.

I took our extended family to Vegas to see a Titanic exhibit in a ballroom at the Luxor. To make local travel easier, we stated at the Luxor. It was awful. Conditions as described in the UConn story. And that was about 7 years ago. I was really surprised a unique hotel arrangement like the Luxor would slip into that condition.

Is this “NIL” for the player’s or for North Texas Softball. I saw previously that Tylor couldn’t use the North Texas logo. It’s on full display in Ashley Peters and Tatum Spark’s gear.
