  1. Don't feed the trolls. Another a-hole who joins to troll. Make you miss the early days when Harry and team would check before letting people join.
  2. TCU yesterday and Tulane today. The talking heads at ESPN have had to backtrack and regroup from their attitudes before the games.
  3. Time for UNT, and the other members of the American to step up our games. No more average!!
  4. Announcers are doing a poor job. You would think they could find announcers who could be objective when a G5 plays a P5. I'm not so sure USC's own announcers are as "homer" as the asses.
  5. I think in an interview he said if he didn't get an opportunity he liked he would withdraw and prepare for the NFL draft. I think he was counting on an offer from TCU or SMU as he wants to stay in this area
  6. I usually like RG3 but so far hes kissing so much USC ass you would think hes trying to apply for a job there
  7. Consultants like those buzz words/phrases. Like when the throw around "world class."
  8. And yet industry leaders in manufacturing all over the world still use it. Sometimes trying to make someone look bad only make you look like an ass
  9. Have a feeling Passwaters will end up at UIW also
  10. Thanks. Was hoping we would get close the the 8 analyst like UTSA
  11. @TheReal_jayD Have they listed what "off-the-field" positions Morris will have? I know the "main" ones Head S&C: Bryan Kegans Operations: Ronald Surita Director of Recruiting: Justin Owens
  12. Need to make sure Grant M and Eric M speak. If they can't get students motivated not sure anyone can
  13. I like these hires and the backgrounds they bring. I'm just hoping they can pull best practices from where tye have been and modify them to be used here with the resources we have as we add more.
  14. One concern, and it has been mentioned on this board many times, with getting coaches from blue blood programs (Alabama, Texas, OU, USC) is that they have had every resource available. Can they make good things happen with less resources? However I do believe, at least on paper, if you compare what Morris has put together compared to Kinne at Texas State, we are way ahead.
  15. I think this is the killer for many of the Air Raid systems. The mentality that they can outscore the other team doesn't seem to work in the big games.
  16. It looks like classes start on the 17th, so we could have official visits on the 10th? Not sure if it's the same for players in the Portal (The portal opened Dec. 5, and closes on Jan. 18, 2023. There is also a 15-day spring period from May 1-15.) Dead period: During the dead period, coaches may not have any in-person contact with recruits and/or their parents. They are not allowed to talk to recruits at their college campus, the athlete’s school, an athletic camp or even the grocery store. Division 1 FBS Aug. 1–31, 2022 Except for: the 48 hours prior to a home game during August and September 1–2 through the 48 hours after the game. This is a quiet period. Dec. 19, 2022 – Jan. 12, 2023 Except for: the seven days before the first day of classes. This is a quiet period for student-athletes enrolling midyear. Jan. 30 – Feb. 28, 2023 Jun. 27 – Jul. 24, 2023
  17. Sounds a lot like many of the Mean Green fans who show hate towards UTSA, then say their not our rivals.
  18. The commitment to the off the field staffing is very encouraging
  19. Head to head with UTSA is critical. SMU will be a different obsticial due to NIL.
  20. Credit to the person who came on a couple of days back with this information
  21. Even though it's not in the rules they seem to be allowing graduate transfers a second time to transfer with no sit out
  22. It's not the fact that he sometimes does not performed well, it's the fact that when the game is on the line his performance seems to improve. He also has the ability to elevate those around him to play at a higher level.
