I think the game is scheduled at a Midland high school. Based on what I saw of us today, that is where we should be playing. Certainly, that is where Littrell should be coaching.

Time for basketball. Maybe we will have something to celebrate after that game. We have a real coach for basketball.

And, there's the garbage points.

Wow! Look at North Texas move the ball against UTSA now that they have called off the dogs and the game is out of reach. We will probably get a meaningless touchdown against these backups, and have to hear about how our offense was starting to get on track. And, how we have to build on that and get another week better. Makes me want to puke.

My point is that at this point I have doubts about Littrell even being a quality OC.

Here come the 4th quarter junk yards that give false hope to those that still believe in Littrell.

You do realize Littrell is calling the plays today?

At this point I'd welcome some shoving and unsportsmanlike like flags. At least it would show our players still have some fight in them.

Wow. We are down 32 points in the 4th quarter and Littrell punts. Nothing says "I quit" like that. How can I justify taking a day off of work and attend the LA Tech game when our coach is giving up?

This coaching staff has not prepared our team to beat a team with a winning record in over two years.

Traylor is a much better coach than Littrell, and it is showing today.

This should not be happening in Littrell's fifth season as coach. Shameful.

That's what I've been saying.

Most fans don't want to view this game as a rivalry. But until we can consistently blowout UTSA like we did last season, the narrative will not change. It is time for a coaching change. And based on this game, we are going to get our tails kicked Thursday when we play LA Tech too.

This is embarrassing. We are a more talented team. This is on our coaching staff. They need to make the adjustments.

Littrell is getting out-coached. Adaway should have been on the field on that 4th down play.

I think Hate Week is a thing between UTSA and Texas State. But, our players hate them, and Wren has insulted them. I hate to lose to them. While many long time posters on this board refuse to acknowledge the animosity between our programs, it certainly exists. I call this annual game the Hate Bowl, and we have won the last three in a row.

In the post game recap. It was mentioned that our make up game with UTEP was set to be played in Midland. Is that true? If so, can we play @ UAB instead? North Texas shouldn't have to play this game at a high school stadium in Midland, when we already offered to host the game. Plus, UAB is a more respected team right now, and a game against them would probably stand a better chance of getting televised. That's my take anyway.

107 years ago today, the North Texas State Normal football team took the field for the first time when they traveled to Fort Worth and played TCU. It was a rainy day that obviously helped TCU to a 13-0 final score. North Texas was coached by J.W. Pender and TCU was coached by Fred Cahoon. I have an original write up of the game.
