Well.. I'm glad UTSA has an administration as stupid as UNT's. Giving a massive extension to a guy who has had one good (half of a) year against an extremely, extremely weak schedule is insane. It might pay off, but I wouldn't gamble that with my own money. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Everybody on here worried about whose going to AAC or MWC or whatever...Am I alone at looking at what's left in any of the remaining conferences and being underwhelmed? Sure some conferences are better than others, but it's really marginal. I can't imagine the everyday fan or student really caring about any of these teams. Play East Carolina, Temple, or USF? Whoopdeedoo. For the average UNT student, we might as well be playing Howard Payne.

Now we know why their cannon campaign failed and they ended up with a box with gunpowder instead. Such a deeply racist campaign to it's core. We've come a long way since the dark medieval times of insensitivity and bigotry that was 2017.

You think that's bad. Imagine how they'll feel when they find out the Alamo is in their city. They should probably bulldoze that too.

Luckily it looks like the governor's authority regarding mask mandates will be decided by the Texas Supreme Court by early next week. It's impossible to know who has the actual authority to do what based on what's happening right now.

Yeah, realistically 2 of the 3 spots were already filled, and I suspect that the team really would like to see what Paxton Lynch can do... The fact that they spent one of their valuable practice spots on a 4th qb says a lot about how highly they think of him.

Sure.. I guess my issue isn't so much with her.. but more the reaction so many people are having. Playing through adversity is a good thing generally and should be applauded, but I've already seen half a dozen reposts on Facebook now of a dumb article a guy wrote stating that Kerri Strug was some sort of victim for trying to make a final vault with an ankle injury (in which she secured a team gold). I think it's fine for BIles to make the decision she did if she felt she needed to. However, it's also fair to say it let her team down. Those aren't mutually exclusive ideas. We don't have to pretend that dropping out actually made her more of a champion somehow.
