  1. Just hedging my bets here (in case you succeed, future Emperor). Just wanted you to know that I could only give you one +1, but would have given you more if I could have, my liege.
  2. Definitely good timing on that! Happy birthday!
  3. Not an option for me right now, but I sure won't mind an occasional invitation to visit the Club Level. Sounds very nice! Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm still more interested in the back of the lower section, rather than the bottom of the upper level. Guess old habits die hard.
  4. I assume that most of the group I am addressing will want to be together, and are at least going to make some effort to sit together as they select seats. I would hope they know enough to at least help me steer clear of the most likely area. Heck - I'll claim the North 40 if they want to claim the South
  5. I will be selecting my seats in less than two weeks. Before I do that, I really need the answer to this question. Where is the group of fans who like to stand for the entire game going to be? I applaud your dedication, but for my own reasons I prefer to sit in my seat, rather than stand in front of it (I do stand when it is prudent to do so based on the game situation). For that reason, I would really not want to be behind a group that stands the entire game. So, do you know what section/area you are aiming for? I would personally like to be somewhere around the 40-45 yard line in the lower section (but near or at the top of the lowest section, which would duplicate the general area I had in Fouts - but with a much better view, of course!). Thanks in advance. Click here to view the article

  7. And I bet theirs can't show the future either.
  8. These numbers are TOTAL enrollment. 36K in Fall 2010, 34K in Spring 2011. We were closer to 37K in Fall 2009 because we had not yet removed UNT-Dallas numbers (which started being counted separately in Fall 2010). Our enrollment has been increasing about 4% over the previous year as compared semester to semester (the 4.6% for spring is compared to last spring).
  9. I'm and H and got a K. (Hey - maybe you got mine!)
  10. Congratulations - guess you'd better order an extra seat for the new stadium!
  11. Or to prove to a conference that UNT is a better candidate
  12. Is that mini-McCarney vs regular-sized Ditka That would almost be a fair fight.
  13. Hrmmmm - speaking in third person 3XNTGRAD is.
  14. Hey - I won't fall for that twice!
  15. These guys stuck it out during one of the toughest 4 years stretches for this program. They fought hard to the end and deserve a big "Thank you" for all they have done. Best of luck in all that you do in the future.
  16. Can't you really ask almost the same question about Canales? He has been here less than a year and saw this interim position as his big chance to break out as a HC. He has done great things in these few weeks, and I really respect that. But, in the end, Mike Canales is out to be a HC. UNT just happened to be his best shot.
  17. Just one factual correction - the big win at Fouts over NMSU to secure our New Orleans Bowl berth was in 2002, the year we beat Cincinnati. Definitely one of the greatest games I have attended at Fouts.
  18. Unfortunately, the ability of some on the board to beat a dead horse would require advanced post-graduate studies in sarcasm in order to tell the difference. I must humble submit that I do not possess such training.
  19. There are several other threads and a poll on that topic. P.S. - We said "No" to the WAC again yesterday.
  20. Great idea - may have to end up on the student side by the end of the night as well, over in the section just behind the band where I sat with my buds from Kendall Hall and watched my first ever North Texas game in 1983. @GreenMachine - I am proud to say that I have never taken a dump in that dump.
  21. For some reason, I have this strange urge to pee on a wall...
  22. The 83 yard touchdown run was AFTER the injury. Seems that Dunbar was in pretty good shape at that point. I have to agree wit the title of this thread. While I have really liked what Canales has done with this team, he was already a long shot and needed every win possible to help him. Whether or not it really should matter, today's loss hurt his chances.
