  1. I feel crazy saying this, but I don't remember DeLoach blitzing much? He disguises a lot, tons of pre-snap motion, but I seem to recall his defenses being labeled as bend-but-don't-break... That 2002 defense had a lot to do with having Awasome and Kennedy on the line. Of the 8 Simms sacks, how many were from behind the front 4? I'll look it up in a second...
  2. I think all of us are dying to know how much better our offense in year 2 will be. The pieces are in place for some great things. I've already made clear my concerns about K-State's o-line. I don't believe they'll hit the home run whenever they feel like it, but I do have concerns that Freeman could stand all day back there, pitch a tent, camp for 5 seconds, and then find the opening in our defense. (does deloach favor zone or man?) Here's hoping our D-line steps up and shows us what they can be.
  3. I recall listening to a podcast from them last season. If it is what I think it is, it's boring. I'll revisit it.
  4. I get two opinions and then ya'll embed a thread about internet credibility. internet news credibility. on a message board. I thought I could count on game week to end offseason debates.
  5. Fawk, the article made it sound like Vizza came out of nowhere. He played a similar offense in San Antonio. He backed out of a scholly/verbal to UNevada. Good enough, apparently, that Dodge wanted this guy from the get go, whether he had a week to recruit or a year.
  6. Oh man I miss these Tulsa fans. Hugs? Yay! Snuggles, Bill Self
  7. Heading out 1:30 to 2-ish on Friday from little D. Roadtrippin' with 3 others. in a f'n Kia. ugh.
  8. 4000-level music history was arguably the hardest undergrad course I ever attended. Have mercy, NCAA!
  9. No kidding. I hear Phelps was going to twist Andrea's tit, too, he was so caught in the moment. Further proof of the jerk that he is. Thank God it stopped there.
  10. I sympathize with those that wish they could hear, but also with those that come to eat. I attended radio shows in El Paso, and don't ever recall it being quiet. I think the primary audience is always the radio listener, and you can't expect it to be like a press conference or some media luncheon. Tough call. No black/white here.
  11. no relation. but I like to think I can play a mean Monty Python intermission.
  12. DeLoach's return has been noted. Damn!
  13. A prophecy begins? Regarding Jenkins, I was really looking forward to seeing him on the field this year. His size and depth would be beneficial, even if only for a few series/game. I hope he can get it together at least before Belt play.
  14. I don't think you're giving KSU enough credit. They're going to make some noise in the Big XII. They don't have the playmakers to win it, but they'll surprise some people.
  15. After looking through his history of posts, I'm more inclined to believe he just doesn't know and unintentionally sounded that way.
  16. I knew EXACTLY what I was going to do before I finished high school and, guess what? 10 years of college, two degrees later, and I was no more qualified for my current job than when I was 17. I can't believe no one would even consider me the first time I tried to get out of working shifts at the midnight bowling alley. My own personal opinion, if you don't know what you're going to do out of high school, there are great options for you. Take a year off from school and travel. Make the world smaller, and your options bigger. Figure out who you are. Don't go through your first year of school, spending 10 thousand dollars on a life you aren't sure about. I understand certain value in "getting your crap together", but what does that really mean? That I show up to 8 a.m. classes on time, apparently. It really gets under my skin to see the f'n morons that have climbed up the corporate ladder because they "have their crap together." Some of these guys couldn't learn an ARM from a fixed, or north from south, but because they show up on time and never get sick for 15 years they are making 3x my income? disgusting.
  17. The Jamaican's are catching up. A guy named "Bolt", IIRC....fittingly too. I think I read that the men's AND women's 400m relay teams dropped batons.
  18. They're a year away, which I believe is more than Denver can claim. In case you didn't catch on, Harry put these in there just to see what people are thinking. No one torture him for not being strict to current college conference affiliation status. yet.
