  1. I wouldn't say they are bottom feeders, but I agree with the gist of the article.
  2. I'm pretty alright with our assistants as long as Skladany is DC. Something tells me he is the glue.
  3. Top 10 creepy gif. Part of my brain wants to think those nostrils are his eyes.
  4. Someone please list 5 - 10 available online sources of historical weather data. Honest, humble request.
  5. I'm pretty happy with where we are skill positions. I should probably plan on spending the rest of my life hoping for a lineman that has the same level of impact that Booger did. One can hope...
  6. You really want to go down this road?
  7. We're at Ground Zero. We're at a point where Benford has won just enough to dissipate the knee-jerk hate analysis, but we are a bottom-conference, terrible team. We're celebrating wins over terrible teams, crossing our fingers for byes, and questioning the status of our program as we barely approach a 0.500 season. We're at Ground Zero. Benford may improve, but you can't deny the damage done the last 1.5+ years. The discussion is no longer about why Coach X sucks, it's about why we - as an athletic program - allowed Coach X to burn a program that was really starting to roll after 10 years of buildup. This feels somewhat like one of JJ's first years. Except I have a bad taste in my mouth.

  9. The lamest thing I've ever seen pregame was a Calipari-coached Memphis team putting on a dunk circus in El Paso for pregame warmup. The Miners came out, proceeded through some layups. One of the Miners followed up a miss with a silly follow up dunk. The Refs called a tech. If IIRC, the Refs awarded Memphis 2 points before the game even started. Talk about a Calipari love-fest by the refs/NCAA.
  10. I do not see his name on their 2013 roster. http://www.navarrocollege.edu/athletics/football/roster/ Still looking for confirmation of where he was during 2013 season.
  11. It's a beautiful color, this color gray. I place where kids learn from a mistake and come back to be key contributors. Maybe even HOFers. Embrace Gray. Be Gray. Love Gray.
  12. Are you sure they wanted last week's games?
  13. I'm going to predict his answer as a resounding "EXACTLY"
  14. How often have we offered 5-stars? I know in most cases, especially lineman, they are about as long a shot as you can get. But why not throw a few offers on the table every year? You never know what might happen?
  15. Some initial thoughts come to mind. The highest paying sports draw the best athletes. After that, it becomes a matter of how much interest is in the sport. How many football players are interested in skiing? Or how happy would an NBA or NHL team owner be, seeing his multi-million dollar athlete putting their body at risk in a different sport?
  16. Rule #1 about Negatives: do not talk about Negatives. (-1 worthy post)
  17. I have no idea, but I had a gut feeling earlier this kid has a heart for UNT from day 1 but some family ties pressured him to try SMU. A year in and he said "enough!"
  18. Not miserable at all. I think it's a good perspective discussion, what with all the conference shuffling that has happened...and will happen.
