They really are the benchmark of our athletics program. Ever since their first season in '96 they've been unbelieveably solid.

I do agree with this wholeheartdely. The 22-4 season when we were ranked(but got hosed by the NCAA and NIT) was our best team of all time. And I wasn't even around yet.

Yeah, because we'll probably be having some sort of banner raising ceremony for last year's team.

Wouldn't be THAT hard to find some comperable schedules. I did some research last season and there were a whole slew of tournament teams that had some suspect games on their OOC slate.

I have it on good authority that the Cameron game will be on the 10th following the Navy football game.

No....the MTSU debacle last year was worse at this point. Maybe I won't feel that way in another hour, but that was 35-0 at home against a Belt squad. I was one of the last Dickey supporters until that game(after the conference titles he was gonna have to REALLY lose it for me to not defend him, and he DID). This is Dodge's 1st game. If SMU is this ugly, then let's just look forward to JJ and basketball. No suicide watch please. Ok? .

Yes, Michigan should not be ranked. I also think voters will agree. I would vote Appalachian State into the Top 25....but I don't believe they can be since they are in another subdivision.

I watched it too. I can only imagine how emotional it was for Hokies everywhere. I was pretty moved.

HOWEVER(being the basketball person I am) I guess you don't remember them ambushing several top seeds in the '02 tournament. If Indiana hadn't hit so many three's in the Regional Final they woulda been George Mason before George Mason.
