  1. Impressive offer sheet includes "Colorado School of Mines".....LOL I am not criticizing his offer list. I just thought that I have heard of every school with at least a D2 football program. I guess not 🤷
  2. Shorter would be a huge loss. That guy is a stud. I would love Adaway back. But of all the backs, Ayo Adeyi is the one guy I don't want to lose.
  3. I heard he played in a scrimmage against the Ohio State starters last year. He was 50 for 50 with over 2,000 yds passing and 1,000 rushing. He was so good that Ohio State walked off the practice field and said they were never going to scrimmage against SMU again 😜
  4. Yep, they are losing one 4* QB and ready to insert another. Jeez. Talk about QB talent.
  5. Embarrassing finish. 13-0 FAU run. Losing Ousmane had to be the difference. They were not the same after.
  6. Oh my. Ouseman out and the entire game has changed. Owls on an 11-0 run. Doesn't look good.
  7. A couple of years ago I was having a beer with Snake Legrand in Arlington. We were discussing the NT/UTA battles while Blakely was at UNT. He had some hilarious stories.
  8. Our WR's chocked it away late. 2 key drops with the ball right in their hands.
  9. 3+ minutes in college is an eternity., Aune has a chance to go out on top. The problem, is that they had better not score too soon with the way the D is playing (and no Davis).
  10. Boise in the 2nd half. 4 possessions, 4 TD's....so far. Come on Phil. Come up with something.
  11. Aune can move the team. His mistakes though are killers. This one is on the defense though. If we lose, it's not on Aune.
  12. I laughed at first and they went....huh. Throwing money at Grant is a near sure thing. It's not like he is recruiting superior talent. He just recruits guys that fit his system and play hard. Those guys have not been part of a NIL bidding war. I just hope Grant is super happy here. It would help to pack the pit more. I will say this though. If Grant moves on, I do feel that Ross Hodge could keep this roll going. The system is working consistently and Hodge is a big part of that.
  13. This team is really good.......again. Mac just keeps plugging and playing different guys every season and it works. The man is special and I hope he is here for a long, long time (wishful thinking ?).
  14. Frank Harris looks just awful today.
  15. I bet he has regrets about that now. He could have ended his college career on a high note at least.
  16. College football is such a mess these days 😞 It's basically just a free for all with few rules (and some of the rules are being broken without penalty).
  17. Probably coach speak. But, it was great to hear him praise our university.
  18. Hi Cameron. Care to join the transfer portal 😉
  19. Aune had a much better year statistically than I expected. His poise and control of the offense overall was a huge step above last season. His YPA was terrific. At times he was very accurate. Then at times, he would miss a wide open receiver. Maddening. In the end, it was the 13 interceptions (and 5 awful pick sixes) that really put a big blemish on the season IMO. A 56% completion rate is not going to get you into the NFL, especially at 29 years old, unless you are Josh Allen who is 6'5" and mobile (Allen was also a 56% passer coming out of Wyoming). With that said, I wish Austin all the luck in the world. He put up with a lot of fan disapproval (self included) and remained steadfast. Never say never. I guess stranger things have happened.
  20. Because it is all about Deion. All the time. Maybe he has changed. But at the core, people really don't change. I do think the man would be able to recruit the hell out of Texas though.
  21. Well. Can't blame this on the offense or the refs. You can't win if you can't stop your opponent.
  22. Well, I don't think UTSA has even punted yet. Until that happens, there can be no comeback.
