  1. Oh please. If they chose to do it, LeBron, Clayton Kershaw & Peyton would have swept the medals for the US.
  2. Wait, I don't know if I need to -1 this comment because you're talking about -1'ing. I'll let it slide this time, in the name of education, but I'm watching you CMJ.
  3. Also, It's not the CO2 gasses that humans are exhaling that are harmful. It's the heat energy that all of these people put off in all kinds of ways. I think some on here are arguing the semantics of how it's happening and can't see the forest for the trees. Or are you guys really saying that a population boom of around 6 billion people over a 200yr period really would have ZERO impact on the earth?
  4. I think it's safe to remove Mustang/Eagle Stadium in Richardson from any list.
  5. Has anyone ever been in an indoor/outdoor setting (like say an old country dancehall) and maybe showed up early on a fine 70degree evening for some dancing with your lady friend? It feels wonderful with maybe a little draft coming in every once in a while. Just you, your lady friend, and maybe a dozen other people... You dance, losing yourself in your lover's eyes, it starts getting warmer in there, but you attribute it to how your special lady makes you feel, not to mention how good of a dancer you are... Next thing you know, 200 more people are in there and dancing as well... Swamp butt everywhere. Any climate data we can gather from prior to the Industrial revolution (circa 1800), is like gathering data from being early at the dancehall. Any climate data we can gather from after 1800, is like gathering data from when all those other people are sweating all over you at the dancehall. There are just SO MANY PEOPLE in the world now. I think hunches about fossil fuel emissions and such are great theories, but they cannot really be proven. This cannot be ignored though, and is really the only piece of evidence needed to make me believe: All this talk about getting swamp butt in an old dancehall makes me want a DQ blizzard.
  6. I don't remember anything about this stadium except for a gigantic radio tower or something about 50yds from the field. I think it's the tower we use to try and communicate with aliens.
  7. Whoa! Is it already open? Seems like only a few months ago they started demo...
  8. Rick, I don't think these ebbs & flows of weather counteract the gradual changes seen at a higher level. Yes it's cold in the U.S. right now, but I have a friend in Germany who says their winter was unusually warm this year and they've had much less snow than they normally do. Are we to assume that means the world is going to melt in 5 years?
  9. Hard to imagine the offense more prolific without Chancellor. Gotta find his replacement. I think Carlos Harris can do some of the things Chancellor did, but we'll have to see. I don't know if you're assuming a specific person will be the starter at QB, but we all know how the playcalling went whenever McNulty was in. If he's our starter, I certainly hope he is improved and/or trusted enough to at least attempt a throw.
  10. The return of our offensive line (sans Anyiam) gives me alot of hope, as the O-line is the motor of the offense. The virtual abandonment of our defensive front 7 (sans Akunne) gives me great trepidation.
  11. You should give them another shot. They've upgraded the FM signal to 96.7. WAAAY stronger.
  12. Did Jim Cleamons check in? His pedigree and coaching results were VERY similar to our very own Tony Benford.
  13. I see how it is CBL... Maybe you're jealous of my bit about knowing some old players? I don't know, but can you please pm me the new acct pw? b3nford1smyh0meboy isn't working anymore.
  14. So confusing: "Four high-flying top NBA D-League prospects will compete in the Boost Mobile NBA D-League Slam Dunk Contest, including reigning champion and 2013 NBA D-League Rookie of the Year Tony Mitchell (Fort Wayne)" There are actually 2 Tony Mitchells on the Mad Ants roster. This one seems to indicate the "other" Tony is competing as our Tony was busy being Benford'd last year.
  15. Lol. http://www.empiresports.co/blake-griffin-smacks-justin-bieber-at-hollywood-starbucks/ EDIT: Reading some of the other headlines on this website... duped.
  16. He's having a field day with this. So great to see him having such a good time with it.
  17. $63k? Is that what we're going to be paying the next guy too? Ugh. Looks like we'll have a new CB's coach every year until we have one that is so awful that a program like Memphis doesn't even want him. Wish we had the funds to keep you around coach Walters. Can't blame you one bit sir. Do us all a favor and either give Dickey a great big hug, or just kick him straight in the nuts. You can only do one or the other though.
  18. You think Bogenshultz is going to start as a true Freshman down there?
  19. Sounds like coach McCarney thinks coach Joseph is that guy (to take over for Skladany).
