    DMN is a mouthpiece for SMU...and for SMU only in their response to covering UNT. No coverage and that is the plan to keep the little guy down in Denton.

    I thought that the new plan was to keep the Super Pit, but maybe doll it up a little more. I do think that a parking garage hooked into the Pit would be a good idea. It could be built in the area just east of the Pit where the flag poles are, etc. Crossing the street from the old Fouts Field parking is not ideal.

    FYI, Tim Duryea, who was on the 1988 Mean Green team that went to the NCAA tournament for the first time, is an assistant at Boise State...he is a Denton native.

    Just a rumor, but I heard that when SMU reaches ACC nirvana next year, the uniforms will be designed by Christian Dior....developing.

    It is kinda a sad/funny situation that has developed in the metroplex. All three major athletic universities have, for different reasons, said 'good bye and good riddance.' Now the metro plex has no major university athletic rivalries.
