  1. I have 2 tickets for the UAB game Thursday. We accidentally bought two extra and we are just looking to get $10 back for them.
  2. I was impressed by UTA’s environment. It was really loud and the game production was really professional. I think the reason why it is so nice though is because the Dallas wings play there. That’s our local WNBA team for those who might not know. I’m sure the stadium production has to be top notch nice since that’s their home court. I think they host comedy shows and concerts there too
  3. That one hurt… BUT we still have a lot of games left. CUSA is super tight this year. Credit to rice for playing a complete game honestly. You never know what can happen throughout the rest of January and February. Every game has seemed to come down to big shots towards the end of the game. I do feel like we are missing mardrez for some of his big shots though
  4. Shoutout to their production team. This broadcast has been pretty good for ESPN+ standards
  5. It will be hilarious if we hold them to 55 points lol
  6. MT is playing out of their minds right now. I don’t think it will sustain. Hopefully this ages well
  7. Class of 2019 here.. my first impression of UNT football was when we were blown out 66-7 on homecoming in my first semester in the fall of 15’. We definitely have came a long ways since then and now I hold season tickets for football and basketball. With that said, I think it’s easy for us to sit here and say that winning is the only way to develop fan interest. Yes winning is great but that starts with good recruiting, and good recruiting starts with a passionate fan base that supports our student athletes no matter what. When recruits come on campus to watch a game and there’s absolutely no one in the stands, and the atmosphere sucks, who would want to come here. Eric and his staff can only do so much. The least we can do is show up rain or shine, win or lose and cheer on the mean green. Money is another way but not everyone can provide that obviously. We have such fair weather fans even though we’ve actually had some decent teams. Compared to many cusa schools we should be grateful. I would like nothing more than to start competing with some of the larger programs in the state just like everyone else in this thread, but it’s going to take some investment either with our attendance or money. We have made progress whether we think so or not and the American is the next stepping stone. I’m sure if we have start having sustained success in the American our fans will find something else to complain about like high ticket prices or the stadium being too crowded lol
  8. Long time lurker, first time poster here.. This is the most frustrated I have been with a McCasland team. It will be very interesting to see what sort of impact Rubin and TP have when they rejoin the starting line up. Even with them missing though I'm having a hard time figuring out how none of these guys expect for Kai can create their own shot. There is such a lack of creativity and i'm just waiting for someone to try to put the ball on the floor and attack the basket. It's not like some of these guys weren't contributors at their previous schools
