  1. Two common opponents playing just started on CBS Sports.
  2. Weldon Dean Parks born in Fort Worth, attended UNT and was part of the one o'clock lab band. He would go on to play with Sonny and Cher, Steely Dan, Michael Jackson, Gordon Lightfoot and Bread. Link to bio: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dean_Parks
  3. Wow this is very good. Everyone should watch this. A lot of good info.
  4. I agree. But SMU isn’t stupid, theybwill want a clause to protect them if FSU and Clemson bail on them or whatnot. Also it appears to me the ACC and Big 16 have shut their doors.
  5. Usually if you get another job in coaching it will take money away from your settlement with the old contract so maybe this is just temporary?
  6. The fate of the remaining Pac-12 programs is still up in the air and while a program like Stanford is confident in their chances with the ACC, it would be foolish to count out Oliver Luck. The father of the Stanford legend and former AD of West Virginia as well as commissioner of the XFL is currently tasked with figuring out the best options for the conference. A couple days ago he was doing his due diligence on expansion candidates from the American Athletic Conference and Mountain West conference, and was reportedly looking into 12 programs. So, here are the five programs from the American that stand out as the best candidates based on their market and academic ranking. Honorable mention goes to UTSA and Tulsa. read more: https://www.si.com/college/stanford/football/the-five-american-athletic-conference-programs-that-make-the-best-pac-12-expansion-targets#gid=ci02c6fde0d002246c&pid=tulane
  7. Me too! Those were such awesome times.
  8. Good interview @TheReal_jayD. One of your best so far and they are all very good. I am grateful for your coverage of the Mean Green.
  9. The 2023 college football season is finally on the horizon. The battle for a spot in the College Football Playoff begins on August 26 and won’t slow down until December. Last season’s National Championship game saw Georgia knock off TCU in lopsided fashion to claim its second straight national title. Could we see the Bulldogs 3-peat this season? It’s certainly possible. With the offseason chaos in the rearview mirror, it’s time to delve into the futures market for each conference. Today, we’ll be taking a look at the American, a conference that is no stranger to making some noise against Power 5 opponents. There are a number of major contenders at the top, and I could conceivably see up to 5 teams potentially winning this league come December. This should be a league with plenty of strong offenses, with scoring galore all season long. Let’s take a look at the odds and best bets to make before the season starts. AAC Championship Odds Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing Tulane (+210) SMU (+340) UTSA (+470) Memphis (+600) Florida Atlantic (+650) Temple (+2400) Navy (+2900) East Carolina (+5000) North Texas (+5000) South Florida (+5500) UAB (+6000) Rice (+60100) read more: https://www.pickswise.com/news/2023-aac-conference-season-preview-best-bets-roadrunners-keep-rolling/
  10. Personally I would like to go on record as having no interest in Oregon and Washington State. I know Aresco is making a play for them but they probably belong in the Mountain West from a geographical perspective.
