Is it too early to voice our thoughts on this coaching staff as unacceptable? Is gomeangreen.com funded by the AD? ...what other reason is there for this site to delete all posts about firing Morris?

My post was deleted...#FIRE Morris. This is atrocious...his own words.

At the very least Morris mentioned it was an embarrassment on his post-game interview and that he has to look himself in the mirror.

When is NT going to stop making excuses? I am hearing we are in our first year of a rebuild? How are we EVER going to elevate this program with this type of mentality? Today has been a pathetic display of coaching and the HC needs to be called out for this embarrassment.

Wait...am I missing something? Why is it a "done deal" that coach Mac is going to Tech?? I don't see anywhere that indicates that with certainty.

I am wondering if there's anyone carpooling and planning on traveling to Stillwater OK for the game and coming back the same night? If so, and if you have any space, I'd love to tag along and help pay for your gas.

Have to then also factor how they beat us. We were the better team clearly, just had a very off game yet still managed to make it competitive until the end.

Coach Mac is going to need to address these types of holes and scoring droughts his teams get in that make it nearly impossible to come back from during critical games. Still plenty of work needs to be done for us to be at the top of the AAC in the coming years.

We can win the tournament if we play disciplined ball, much like the majority of today's first half.

I'm happy that neither Houston, Cincy nor UCF won the American AND that Tulane beat a playoff-contender in USC at the Cotton Bowl. Helps that Tulane is staying and continuing the perception of the American being the top G5 conference. Now, let us win the American and enter the playoffs as the top G5 team. That is what I expect from our new coach. Perhaps not next season but sooner than later. It's about damn time we become relevant.

Does anyone know if they'll be selling tickets at the gate?

For the first time, I truly feel that UNT is ready to prove it is going to seriously compete at a higher/relevant level. The leadership at UNT for the first time fires a FB HC right after making the conference championship game and elevating the bar of success. To me, this is real proof that our leadership is serious about UNT doing what Houston, TCU, UCF, Cincy have been able to accomplish over the past decade +. I hope for the right hire, having our FB program win the AAC within the first couple of years and establish and sustain national relevance. As for Seth, he certainly was the right hire at the time and I respect him and thank him for a job well done at UNT. Now it's time to become nationally relevant and change perceptions about the mean green. Nothing less than the ladder will do for North Texas! GMG!

Nothing in near Lewisville?

Wren has been OK. His best accomplishment was hiring our MBB coach but other than that, most of the pieces were already set in place. Where he has failed is to bring excitement back into our athletic programs through proven marketing schemes and improving the gameday experience. So, I am actually kind of glad he is leaving as long as we can bring someone in who can truly understand marketing and also knows who to hire as our next football coach.

What does that have to do with my point? Stanford's endowment is larger yet they've made way more investments in athletics than Rice, even though they'd be doing more than fine if they didn't pay much attention to athletics. Again, if certain alums at Rice decide to push for better athletics, they'll easily do it and climb up the ladder.

Too many underestimate the value of Rice University being in the same conference. If Rice decides to get really serious about athletics, it has the resources necessary to do so and become a top-tier program. Not to mention the superb academics it brings to the table.

I like that Rice was included.

That is the one I am referring to! Thanks. I does look like it could be a parking garage, which I am not sure would be the nicest structure for a place near our entrance. But hope if it is, it could be aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

I was curious after the game about a new building being built on the 35 service road near the main entrance of the university. It's next to that new apartment building and since it's part of the entrance look from 35, I was wondering what it will be and if it'll be a nice looking structure (hopefully).
