"Rising Coordinator" is maybe a bit specific - I'd like a very talented Coordinator who has an established career as a coordinator, or associate head coach experience. Someone who is getting groomed to be a head coach. I'm sure our leadership could sift through candidates to see if they have what Littrell was missing.

Joey McGuire or Doc Holiday are my two top candidates for this next season. Let's not even entertain coaches with a shaky past, that will never happen here, and I'm not sure why we're still having a conversation about it. Much better coaches available without all the baggage.

I’m tied to Baylor pretty close, and one reason that they were so successful in the Rhule era is because they had such a strong S&C department that really built up the players in the times that the coaches couldn’t.

We have to raise our OOC games if we really want to prove ourselves at the next level. Would love good G5 teams, and bad P5 teams to play. Games that people would be interested in seeing, even if they weren't a fan. Teams like Costal, Boise, K-State, Houston. There's been a lot of very successful football teams built with Texas ties. Kinda hard though to break through and win a natty when it's been the same 4 teams for 10 years though.
