Navy stopped themselves. Two straight bad passes that would have been touchdowns, and then a motion penalty that kept them from going for it on 4th down.

I think most of the fans on this board hold season tickets, and buy UNT merch. Now making excuses for this debacle, that is absurd.

Navy only scored 27 points because they run a ball control offense that chews up the clock and limits the number of possessions each team has in the game. Plus, Navy committed 7 penalties in this game, which also killed some of their drives. Factor in the bad throws that would have been Navy touchdowns, and it is easy to see why Navy only posted 27 points. Navy also had a time of possession advantage of almost 8 minutes. Let's face it. We got outcoached on both sides of the ball today.

Gotta make that catch. Navy is a bad team. This was probably the conference game we were most likely to win. It's probably all downhill from here. Morris is obviously learning as he goes, and that is unfortunate. I think most of us thought we wouldn't have to endure more of the same. This is Littrell 2.0. Sad.

Three sacks were part of the problem, but 300+ yards of rushing by Navy & the 50, with its' 3-man front, certainly had a hand in this loss too.

This is torture. This defense is absolutely worthless. Morris has to answer for this crap. If Navy doesn't get penalties, they will spend the next 5 minutes getting another TD.

Penalties hurt Navy in the 1st half. And like I've already stated, Navy is making adjustments and beginning to hurt us with their passing game. This game is beginning to get away from us.
