Imagine a 27-28 yr old being more mature than an 18-20 year old.
I know this will be unpopular but I feel like if Bean was a white kid and Aune a black kid, Bean would not have been so piled on like he was. Now I admit, I was halfway across the world and couldn’t see him on the sidelines, but I feel like any teenager is going to pout a bit at being benched but I hope everyone is being honest with themselves about why they felt they needed to discuss Bean’s sideline reactions.Personally, watching online from afar, I thought our QB play was mediocre at best and hope Ruder or Martin take the job. 54 percent completion percentage sucks ass.
It’s always gotta be a race thing….. LMAO get over yourself.

First, he's not coming back to UNT. We have a QB Coach in place.
Second, yes this could have been drop on a technicality, or the "victim" decided to not testify, or whatever but
Third, it sucks if Wallis is completely innocent because either way, it has severely hampered his career and this cloud will be hung over his head by everyone that he approaches regarding employment.
Nope. The “victim” was told she had a sh*t case. Changed her story multiple times, had *NO* evidence. So the DA told her to go kick rocks.

I have no idea if he is or isn’t innocent, nor do I know all the details of the supposed incident, but if he is innocent he should be given a second chance. I’m not sure if that is here or elsewhere, but it is ridiculous in this day and age that accusations can ruin someone’s career.

Look what’s happening to Trask right now because his top 3 receivers quit on him. Makes him look bad because of those 3 selfish players.

This is all on Seth. He wanted to call plays. Can’t get 1 yard because he calls the same rpo run up the middle every time
Need the man who brought the offense to UNT to be calling the plays.

1. Southern Miss isn't that good: We made them look good, but I'd be surprised if they finish ahead of UAB, LA Tech, or even UTSA in the western division standings .
2. Littrell got schooled in every possible way: We just lost to a USM team that had multiple players including key starters quit their team. Their coach even left their team following week 1 of the season. Also, their interim coach was their OC, and he is about the same age as our starting QB. You can't make this crap up.
3. Our RB's did well tonight: Patrick Cobbs is a heck of an RB coach. That is about the only positive I can point to offensively.
4. Bean should have been given a shot at some point in the game: Aune put it on the ground twice tonight and missed open receivers down field. Would Bean really have been any worse?
5. Our team is soft: On one play our RB was fighting to get a first down and linemen were just standing there looking at him. Are they not coached to move the pile?
6. Littrell is overpaid: Seth is the highest paid coach in C-USA, and I seriously doubt this team will even finish in the middle of the pack.
7. I'm going to have plenty of leg room next week for Charlotte: And not because of social distancing.
Aune will be fine, when throwing the deep ball that often there’s going to be more misses than hits. Once he gets settled in in the qb1 spot there will be more reps with the starting wr’s and the timing will get better. It truly is a 50/50 ball and the hardest ball to complete.

Aune wasn’t bad tn but wasn’t that good, had some over throws but had some dimes. Now that i guess he’s the guy he will start to get better every week with timing not having to split.

Is this game televised?

Like i said from the beginning Aune will be the guy who produces behind center.

He's been going through the motions in Denton for over a year. At this point, the rust argument is going to be given a short leash.
Hasn’t played in a live football game under the lights in 7 years. Spring games are not even close to the real deal.

I’m not exactly so blown away by Aune in his one possession that I wouldn’t keep Bean as the starter. Both have thrown a long pass to a WIDE open receiver.
Aune’s deep was was right on the money, if the ball wasn’t in that perfect spot it turns into a jump ball.

I never thought I'd say this... Can we put Bean back in?
Aune has more skill, he hasn’t played football in 6/7 years so there’s some rust that needs to be knocked off.

😂😂😂. Trust me, we didn’t hire Wallis as the QB coach and ask him to bring his system from Argyle. That is hilarious.
Wanna bet your life savings on it?

Floating the ball like Bean is doing might cause problems against other teams
Aune can drive the ball on a line to any spot on the field, played in the minors for 6 years that arm is strong. Waiting to see if he gets his name called. Prob not after 3 bean td’s.

She clearly took that meeting so personally that she followed him for years until he landed at Argyle (for maximum publicity and “attention”). Then, she waited to strike until after he’d left and gotten a university job at headline grabbing UNT and stealthily recruited some high school girls to make up accusations against him for “attention”. Brenda Tracy is basically Heath Ledger’s Joker and Chrisoph Waltz’s Ernst Blofeld in one diabolical package. She is the author of all Tate Wallis’ pain.
I was wondering if our resident conspiracy theorists were going to use his accosting of Brenda Tracy at Baylor as evidence that he’s NOT a creep. Talk about bad optics.
For the record, I voted “no”, but really more a “not at this time.” I’m going off the assumption that the University has about the same amount of information we all do. If they get something damning, I’m sure they’ll cut ties. Until then, he’s on leave.
No need to fire an innocent man, too many people lose their careers and get their life’s ruined by this kind of stuff. Wait and see what the Evidence and final verdict say.

So do we know for a fact he is guilty? I will say this, I have heard Argyle is like a soap opera these days with helicopter moms so it wouldn't surpise me if this was a false allegation. That said the dude has one strike against him already so that makes it hard.
This guy gets it, no there is no incidence nor has he been found guilty. And after court he will he found not guilty.

Um. Having sex with a minor who is under your supervision and responsibility all while the wife and kids are sitting at home... Leads to automatic firing. Regardless of it being a lessor sex assault charge.
People like you are the reason he will have a label on him even after he is found not guilty. Posting about things you have no idea about. If you just read the article you can see that there was no sex with a minor. Pitiful a$$ people

How much slack should Austin Aune have this season?
in Mean Green Football
Posted
People seem to forget that Aune took a 6 year break from playing any level of football. And in his first year back he was ranked 26th nationally in passer rating…. I’m not sure why he gets the hate on this website by MeanGreen fans. The QB was not the problem last year nor will it be the deciding factor between Wins and Loses this year. I’m not the coach but i would rather have a mature 28 year old who was 26th in passer rating leading my offense!!
