  1. No we do not and this is why this injury combined with SMU illegally stealing our only other power back Siggurs is so devastating.
  2. With the University of Texas and Oklahoma University leaving the Big 12 Conference, effective 2025 if not sooner, other Texas universities have an opportunity to create an in-state Division 1 football conference that would: Cover all major Texas TV markets. Attract significant Texas corporate advertisers/sponsors. Preserve or create in-state rivalries and strengths in all sports. Tie in to established college football bowl games. Reduce travel costs and increase attendance for all sports. Open more opportunities for college scholarships for Texas high school athletes. Accommodate families who want to watch their sons and daughters play. Generate statewide public and alumni excitement for Texas college sports. read more: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reporternews.com/amp/8186122002
  3. We have two many skill position players for there to be a 40/30 guy IMHO.
  4. In 2018 we had Mason Fine and demolished them. Now just two years later and we are scared to death of them. That’s messed up man!
  5. I disagree here. Littrell lives to see the entire season, unless he outright loses the team, a-la McCarney with the Portland St. debacle (which I doubt). I get your point but damn man this dude is heading into his 6th season here. Are you suggesting they would keep him through year 7 with an overall losing record?
  6. You guys are so funny to me. When a dude transfers you act all high and mighty towards any fan that gets upset about it. Then when someone wants to keep track of a former players career you get all pissy! 😂
  7. I agree with @untjim1995at 4-8 but personally I don’t think Wren allows Seth to stay with that record and will name Phil Bennett or Mike Bloesch the interim head coach at mid season and then the University will keep him as coach to help save the money to buyout Seth. Seth will get another OC job right away which limits the buyout liability as I understand it.
  8. I think Hank is ok but why the heck can’t we have a former player or coach or even just a UNT alum be a part of this broadcast team or at least on the sidelines? We have so many colorful personalities and talented ex lettermen and alumni. Maybe it’s time for a change?

  10. This issue has been brought up before but it appears that we replace SMU with Wyoming in 2026 and after. WTF? Was this our choice or theirs? This has been a great series for both schools in terms of attendance and rivalries. I really hope that it will continue and would like an explanation if it does not. https://fbschedules.com/ncaa/north-texas/
  11. NATCHITOCHES – Ahead of Northwestern State's Sept. 4 football season opener at North Texas, there will be a chance for Demon fans to do something they have not been able to since November 2019. The Demons Unlimited Foundation has partnered with the Northwestern State Alumni Association to host a tailgate party ahead of the Demons' 6:30 p.m. kickoff against North Texas in Denton, Texas. The tailgate party begins at 3 p.m. and runs until 6 p.m. Included in the $20 tailgate ticket is all-you-can-eat barbecue from Metzler's BBQ in Denton as well as soft drinks and water. Beer will be available for all patrons 21 years old and above. Tickets for the game are available for $35 and can be purchased separately or in a $55 bundle with a tailgate ticket. Northwestern State's seating sections are on the southeast side of Apogee Stadium in Sections 124 and 125. The deadline to purchase tickets is Aug. 26. To purchase tailgate, game tickets or both, visit https://app.mobilecause.com/form/hXPJCw?vid=kp5op. For additional information, contact Mike Jacklich at 318-357-4268.
  12. At first I thought if you graduated you could leave so long as the school you are at allows it. On second thought I think the NCAA may have to approve a waiver. I'm not sure honestly.
  13. Now that we landed Kaci Moreka, how do you see the starting UNT Oline look for this season? LT Brammer LG Turpin C Mose RG Blair RT Moreka TE Pirtile
  14. Wow should make a huge difference with more experience.
  15. OSU is returning to Oklahoma City for the first time since 2013 in a big matchup of programs that produced top-three NBA Draft picks last week. The Cowboys will play Southern California on Dec. 21 as part of the Compete 4 Cause Classic doubleheader inside Paycom Center, it was announced Wednesday. The game will headline the event and follow a matchup between Tulsa and North Texas. Ticket and TV information will be released at a later date. read more: https://www.oklahoman.com/story/sports/2021/08/04/oklahoma-state-basketball-lands-commitment-quion-williams/5493258001/
