Yeah I know. I did kind of forget/ didn't think about UTSA though. I just focused on Texas State because they've been bad and I assume their fans are eager to jump on the wagon too.

Texas State has only been playing FBS football for 10 years. After beating Baylor, they are probably on track to their first bowl game ever. I bet Texas State actually has some dedicated fans and there's hype around the program now. Apparently they have two D2 national titles from the 80s. And with it being UTSA's first home game, I'm sure it will be a big crowd.

No team should look past any opponent. We need to focus on FIU, who already has a home win.

It says she was a student of Dr Cook at UNT, who she is now replacing. From what I found, the Guyer band is highly rated in UIL competition every year. I wish I could find their results, but the UIL site and their social media suck. I'm sure she'll do great.

I'm pretty sure that's there because students don't get into the NIT games for free, even at home. Or an outside organization usually donates to send a lot of students for "free."

Spring Break just started. There will hardly be any students there. Last year, when we played Virginia, Spring Break was just ending. In fact, because Spring Break just started today, we may not get an NIT game at home with the students back. The only chance of that is if OK State loses and we make it the 3rd round.

Yes that's true, but those games are scheduled years in advance. Not regular. Cal has played Notre Dame a total of 4 times and Ole Miss 2 times in its entire history. I'm just saying with SMU in the conference, multiple PAC schools/coaches get guaranteed biennial trips to arguably the best recruiting ground in the country with an accessible viewing schedule for everyone.

I'm not sure anyone has mentioned this, but if SMU goes to the PAC, then every time a west coast team comes to play in Dallas, they're playing in the central time zone and getting more TV exposure. And they're trying to break into Texas more for recruiting purposes.

Actually no. You have to audition and if you make the basketball band you get paid, although it isn't a lot. It's a lot to most college students I guess.
