  1. I was a freshman in 09 and they were there. They've been there since at least 2006 according to this photo. They seem pretty old. https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc1872633/m1/1/
  2. Tickets are already getting tight. It's one ticket for both games. Better buy now if you plan on going.
  3. Yeah I know. I did kind of forget/ didn't think about UTSA though. I just focused on Texas State because they've been bad and I assume their fans are eager to jump on the wagon too.
  4. Texas State has only been playing FBS football for 10 years. After beating Baylor, they are probably on track to their first bowl game ever. I bet Texas State actually has some dedicated fans and there's hype around the program now. Apparently they have two D2 national titles from the 80s. And with it being UTSA's first home game, I'm sure it will be a big crowd.
  5. No team should look past any opponent. We need to focus on FIU, who already has a home win.
  6. I see he played Aussie football. Could have something to do with it, but he should know better by now.
  7. Was our punter a rugby player in Australia? You can't kick a football like that.
  8. It says she was a student of Dr Cook at UNT, who she is now replacing. From what I found, the Guyer band is highly rated in UIL competition every year. I wish I could find their results, but the UIL site and their social media suck. I'm sure she'll do great.
  9. 90% of band practice is for half time.
  10. You are correct. According to Winsipedia, we have never played Wyoming.
  11. I'm pretty sure that's there because students don't get into the NIT games for free, even at home. Or an outside organization usually donates to send a lot of students for "free."
  12. Ok cool. Hopefully either way we have a decent crowd.
