There is absolutely no way Aune is the best we have. He's terrible. I'm generally pretty optimist and lenient on our team but he's awful, and consistently throws the ball 5-10 ft outside of receivers' targets. He can run and pass once in a while. Thats it.

Tap the brakes there. 3 of the American's 8 current programs are leaving. Now, having said that, we're the only program joining that doesn't have baseball. So that is promising that we might have it sooner than later. But it's still probably not on the forefront of immediate UNT to-do's. I hope I'm wrong! I want baseball very badly

Once again, I said it last night. There was no reason not to extend SL after 2018. You cant fire him in 2019. 2020 was a covid year and we made a bowl and had an NFL ready wide reciever. There hasn't been an adequate window to let him go until now. Be patient.
