  1. I feel like it is more QB development that is lacking more then anything. I feel like Harrell truly developed Fine. Don’t get me wrong Fine definitely had/has the mamba mentality which is why I think he accelerated as quickly as he did. But I do think Harrell’s leadership helped in developing and Fine tuning (No pun intended) Fines’ QB knowledge and skills.

if we had someone developing the QBs that came in I think we would be in a different boat.

Passing accuracy shouldn’t be as bad as it’s been with our QBs. IMO

While I am extremely upset that we lost the game to SMU when we had The opportunities to potentially pull out a win. Last nights game made me feel like we will beat a lot more teams than I originally expected.

If we have a six or higher win season and the games we lose our similar to the SMU game, in my opinion Seth  shouldn’t be in the hot seat.

this game, was a game that I think a lot of people had marked down as a loss and the way they played impressed me (mostly Defense) even if it wasn’t as great as I would’ve liked.

Ruder threw for 366 yards, that has me positive.

I have to say last nights performance was horrible. I’m honestly at a lost of words to describe how I’m feeling.

UNT’s performance IMO was no where near how they played SMU*

it was like they didn’t know what was going on. I don’t see how this team will win 6 games this year playing like they did last night.

if this is any indication of how the rest of the season will be, Seth deserves to be in the HOT SEAT. I am a believer of waiting until the end of the season, but I got to say last nights game didn’t give me good vibes for the rest of the season.

crazy thing is I really do feel like we have the players to win, maybe not the cream of the crop, but talented enough to win.

*(Granted we are finding out SMU isn’t that great to begin with. After seeing how La Tech pretty much won their game against SMU minus the lucky Hail Mary)

  3. Is Isaiah Johnson starting to take form? (His touchdown vs SMU was nothing short of amazing)

Your thoughts on Bryson Jackson #0 ? (Seems to have dropped a lot of balls this season. )

Do you think the defense gets a turnover this game?

What offensive player do you think shines/has a break out game this Saturday, if any.

What are your UNT vs UAB game predictions (Scores).

This is not a slam at you because you are looking to be as positive as possible, but rather, it's a statement of frustration from a decades long fan.

I am sick to death of losing games that we should have won.

I'm sick to death of hearing something like "wow, we really showed a lot of potential last night", or "wow, we beat the betting line etc, etc."   I suppose it gets us through the season.......but I am sick to death of it.

I'm also sick to death of OTHER schools, that nobody generally ever heard of, pass us up like we were in the latest traffic back-up and they were on the express lane. It started way back around the D.D. era, when the likes of South Florida, who started up by having coaches offices in temporary-mobile-home-like buildings. But look at them now! OR all of the other F-U's who no one ever heard of and now one of them is being invited to be in the B-12. AND FINALLY Coastal Carolina!?!?  #17 in the Nation!?!? UTSA!?!  How the hell does anyone pick UTSA over North Texas?

For the longest time many people on this board would say "pay the guy a competitive salary, and we'll get the coach that we need to turn this program around". I don't know how much SL really makes, but I think just about everyone agrees that it's over a million a year".  And so far, all he has produced is some gaudy passing stats.

SO, in the words of that former student who used to be at NT (Dr. Phil)  "How's that working out for you?"

Second INT was a good play by their #3. If our DB made that same play we would all be saying what a hell of a play it was. #3 is a solid DB

I’d disagree only on this thought. I feel like Ruder threw the ball behind the receiver and didn’t lead him enough.

Also there was another play, a fade route in the end zone to Jackson (#0) that I felt he should’ve thrown more towards the corner of the end zone. Could of been a touchdown in my opinion.

Not ragging on Ruder though, there were plays the receivers didn’t help him at all with drop passes or bad routes.

I think he has been doing the show with those guys for a while. The comments concerning UNT have been good. Hey, it gets our name out there and maybe a few people/players in the region think of us.

I agree! This is great marketing for UNT Football. I feel like it can only help us from that prospective.

Was there a gift this year?  I was hoping for some companions for my bag, coaster and bobble head.

When I was selecting my new seats due to the COVID precautions I was told we are suppose receive a model of the Stadium.

I was asked if they would be mailed, he said they were still working out the kinks. But said they may have us pick up during one of the home game. Said the goal was to hopefully get it figured out by the second game.

They must be still working out logistics. Who’s knows though, may have to follow back up.

  8. I’m feeling pretty good about next this next football season, and I don’t know why lol. I feel that we will have a better win column next year compared to this past year.

Oddly I’m excited for our offense. I think our running backs will be our savior for the first few games... until Tate is able to spend more game time with our QB’s. Our run game will be solid all year assuming we’re injury free

I’m still on the jury with the defense. I’m curious to know what formation Bowen will use. If Bowen is about to play to our strengths I think it could be a fun year... we have some young studs itching for playing time.

  9. Does anyone know when the Spring Game will be this year?

Im surprised that we haven’t gotten all of our coaches yet. I was hoping we would of gotten them before the Feb signing day to prep for the Spring Game.

also have we officially signed our Oline Coach? I would of expected more of an announcement or at least to see him more online with the other UNT coaches recruiting.

  10. What I like about Aune is his composure. When he is in the pocket he looks so relaxed and un-phased. He has a strong arm as well.

Im hoping he gets the nod next year, but all in all....if we’re winning I won’t care who’s in there. #GMG
