This is what made me decide on UTSA. There are lots of good schools in Texas, but this is what I wanted to go to school for so why go any where else?

Thanks for sharing, yeah I never have seen that or heard about it. I dont live in SA though. Side note, it was a toss up between the roadrunner and the armadillo. Just a little history.

Honestly I have no idea, never got most of the KFC jokes either. Chick-fil-a is a big sponser at most of the games though.

Maybe talk to Don Harris? Living in SA? You should join me for a UTSA game some time, sometimes I end up with an extra ticket when my wife cant go. Forgot to mention, where I live there is also a lot of TxState stuff as well.

oh ok I see, yeah it would end up being a process for him. With that said, I hope we have a couple of years before we worry about that. Although I live closer to Austin on I-35 than SA, there is also a lot of Tech stuff. Don't really see any OU stuff though.

Agreed, and those guys will get their air time if they win or lose. Also, there is absolutely nothing that could get me to like a place with a fan base like smu. Did they just get off their expensive boats and come straight to the game?

I loved what Don Harris said. Theres been little to no love from the media locally, they are always fixated on the Longhorns and Aggies. This year we have started to see some change in that.

Heading up to Baylor I was keeping up with the UNT score. Got excited with yall winning early. Would have been nice seeing their SMUG faces after yall won. Didnt get to see it this year but September 1st 2018 we will!!!

You don't know what you're talking about. Most didn't apply to UT, I know I didn't. I went to the school that excelled in my field of interest, as all kids should. Going to a school for the "cool" factor is just like throwing away money.
