At this stage of the season... I sadly will be ok with 7-5 with hopes of a bowl win. Would love to send out Mason and the seniors with at least a bowl ring.

I really wish we could have seen UTSA play this last weekend. I think we would have a better gauge of where we actually sit in the conference... I do think the Texas college football pecking order has been established though... We fall below the P5s, AAC schools, and sit right in front of UTSA, RIce, TX St, and UTEP. I think we are still on the upswing... I think we just didnt realize how much we would miss the guys we lost on defense, GH, and not having our elite receivers. I am still semi-hopeful we can do ok in conference play... but I am kind of glad to know where we sit. Time to focus on conference and not worry about trying to make "statement wins" in OOC.

Talked to some folks who have some connections in the locker room tonight... the word was did he want to do the redshirt or come back in 4-6 weeks. Sounds like he chose the former.

Im torn... I like them, i do... but i got so hyped for these last season and was let down. Im with you... hopefully we can make them lucky. UTSA is a good one to go against.

Unfortunately... I think it is still hard to tell who we are yet on offense. ACU was an FCS game... SMU and Cal have been hard to gauge bc of how we started both games. Again... I think this week is another chance to figure out who we are. UTSA wont rollover for us. We will need to play hard. If we can pound the ball early and late... we should be able to open up the passing game pretty easily against them. Lets go 1-0 this week! GMG

I don’t know about you guys... but I feel a little better after this game. Yes, for the second week in a row we fell too far behind to win... but we never gave up. We beat them the rest of the game against a team much better than SMU. We will compete in conference and I like our chances against Houston at home. Now possibly losing Rico. That hurts. More for him personally GMG

Im down for this... TBH I was surprised by how long students stuck around for the ACU game. However, it is a taaad creepy that they are using location tracking to figure this out. But when youre a big dawg... you can do whatever you want. GMG
