I’ve noticed a pattern with some of these old SWC schools. SMU, UH...The utter arrogance displayed by these fans sometimes.

I was hoping to see an improvement in CUSA TV this year but that ODU football game was high school audio visual club at best. The quality varies greatly depending on the host school

Right...they had Milton last year for that game. They will not have him this year, and I’m sure the blue blood programs are quite sick of UCF so LSU is taking this game seriously while Auburn probably wasn’t.

Well if UCF gets shalacked by LSU this could all be a mute point but if they somehow beat LSU without Milton, it’s going to be a storyline that will not go away.

I doubt Denton could accommodate that bowl game if they could they would have made a pitch when the Miami Bowl moved to Frisco.

Students alone don’t fill any of these venues...especially at programs like UT. It’s partly filled by alumni but mostly it’s filled by people that have never attended the school.

Last two years the CUSA champion has faced a weak MAC team. Is that a premier matchup? Is this what North Texas should expect when it wins the conference?

Beating SMU for a second straight year (which I believe has never happened) would be so fricken awesome going forward my friend. 😅

I need more downvotes....SL was out the door and he didn’t stay because of any buyout. It came down to a staff issue. He has a heck of an agent and I congratulate him because his agent truly sees that SL is going places. At the end of the day SL is going to stay or leave based on his decision. If you disagree with me on that then you’re truly drinking that green koolaid from the tap. The only way I want SL to leave is with a 10 win season coming off a conference championship with a bowl game victory while he’s getting a new job because his recruiting classes are so good even a grad assistant could couch the team! The athletic department doesn’t own the super pit, that’s probably the biggest driver to build a new, more modern arena that will house multiple sports and practice courts. It’s in the master plan and makes sense.

Imagine how much more money they would make with an expanded playoffs. These bowls are a failing enterprise.

Celebration penalties, numerous personal fouls, it looked like a walk through for them, they punked this team and showed no respect throughout the game. As far as preparation? I think they were just more talented.
