I wanted the win, but maybe they needed this to remind them that you can't take any team for granted. Maybe this will get them refocused.

I think this is a good haul. I was not too worried about the offense. It was the defense I was worried about. If we got the defensive players we wanted and the defense is still last or is in the bottom 20, then Caponi is the problem and not the players.

The men got dominated, but the women are up by 13.

I decided to watch the women's game. At least there we are competitive. We need some size. If not, our guards need to be able to create and score and right now they can't.

Pitiful end to the first half. These offensive draughts are going to sink these team if they don't get it figured out.

UAPB just beat the Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville 74-70. They are a good team. We beat a really solid team.

I am worried now because this team cannot finish.

UAPB is not as bad as their record indicates. Like others have already said, they beat SMU two days before playing us. Either SMU is really bad or UAPB is a solid team. I tend to think they are better. I say that because my wife and I have floor seats to WBB. I couldn't make this game because of work, but my wife did and she said Coach Burton stopped by enroute to his post game interview with ESPN and told her that UAPB has an All American player. I assume it is the Texas A&M transfer that averages 20 points per game.

I was at this game. It was night and day between the first and second half. Coach Burton must have lit a fire under their butts with his own suit because he came out in the second half with a different suit on and they basically shut Pepperdine down.

We could hire away their DC. He only makes $189k and I am pretty sure they are in the top 20 in defense in the country. He would get a substantial pay raise coming here.

Against Rice last year, we had something to play for. We were going bowling and looking to play in the CUSA CG. This year we have nothing to play for. With the seniors families being there for senior day, the diehards, and people looking for a cheap tickets to something to do on Saturday afternoon after Thanksgiving, I predict 3500.

I am jumping on the Side.Show.Joe bandwagon. Fire Caponi!!!!!!!!! We are paying too much money to be last in the country on defense. I get it that the defense would probably go backwards some based on lost personnel, but to go to dead last in the country is inexcusable for $475K.

I really don't think that A&M will hire Traylor. I think the powers that be want a HC who can win with someone other than someone named Frank Harris. If Traylor does well next season without Harris, then he will start to get a lot of P5 looks. The same happened with us and Littrell without Fine. He could not prove that he could win consistently with someone other than Mason Fine.

Mine was removed too and it wasn't meant to be funny or mean. I just went to school with someone who had the same thing and it was something they were born with. Also, apparently my reference to the Muppet critics about this team must have been considered mean as well.

This defense let them drive 99 yards. Pathetic.

Why do I feel like these guys when watching this team this year? Always complaining about how bad the show is, but I keep watching every week.

You are right. The good news is Tulsa is trying to throw more than they need to. All they have to do is run. Both coaches are doing what they shouldn't at times.

I know we keep talking about the defense, but can we mention how much the O-Line has regressed this year? We really only lost one person in Manase, but they shouldn't have regressed this much.

If the seats are actually paid for, I have no problem with it because it puts money into the program. I just don't understand the people who complain about students sitting in them when the person who paid for them did not bother to show up.

This conference should be a lot more than a 1 or 2 bid conference for the NCAA tourney.
