  1. What have we got to lose... our virginity??? Might as well give him a shot. Who knows, he may have a strong Q4 and fill us with false hope.
  2. Views of the game and Apogee - GO MEAN GREEN & GO BOBCATS! https://reneemarler.zenfolio.com/p460506288?fbclid=IwAR1CL8OKgIiNdQ0XxxJ_8ZsogUi39x5laSBi1B3bJmeZWl_5M6ohi7WysWU
  3. Celina had a BIG win tonight. It was so nice being at Apogee again. The Bobcats will play either Graham or Aubrey next Friday at Apogee again. Thurs for UNT and Fri for Celina - it should be a fun week for me :)
  4. It's 2020 so what the hell...53-21 with a BIG road win for UNT!
  5. Agree. Unless we have a lot of key guys out for Covid, I bet we blow the doors off the chicken shack!
  6. https://pickdawgz.com/cfb-picks/2020-11-28/north-texas-at-utsa-11-28-20-college-football-picks-and-prediction North Texas has had trouble slowing down opponent offenses this season, however, I am not sure if the UTSA passing attack will be able to really exploit the Mean Green defense that is allowing over 300 passing yards per game. North Texas has an offense that can put up points and as I’ve liked what I’ve seen out of the Mean Green over their last two games, I think North Texas will keep this one close enough to cover with the points. Good Luck!
  7. https://statsalt.com/games/ncaaf/11-28-2020/north-texas-vs-utsa-prediction-7524/ North Texas has won outright in three straight and four out of the last five these two teams have played. The spark Jason Bean has applied to this offense will make this game come down to the wire as North Texas’ fifth ranked offense in total yards has been able to move the ball on anyone and everyone. While this game should come down to the last few possessions, it may very well end in a field goal difference which gives us value on the line for North Texas. UTSA has covered in just two home games all season. Prediction: North Texas +3.5
  8. Did anyone else get this (giant) book in the mail recently? I remember updating my information but I never ordered one. It's the biggest book in my house...not sure what to do with it since there's that internet thing available nowadays.
  9. If UNT wins the next three (I realize there are A LOT of assumptions I just made), then would a CUSA Championship Game be on the table? GMG
  10. The "moms" group are all saying 6:00pm but I haven't seen the official announcement yet. My son is on the Bobcat Brigade (flags) but we're always the last to find out
  11. https://247sports.com/college/north-texas/LongFormArticle/Preview-and-predictions-North-Texas-Mean-Green-football-finally-returns-faces-Rice-155073928/#155073928_3 North Texas is favored by a slight -1.5 margin, which is expected considering no one knows how this game is going to play out. I believe the Mean Green will play well, but the more I look at the matchups, the harder it is to find where their significant advantage is. Rice’s offense should be able to run, their pass game is dangerous, their run defense is stout, so in order for North Texas to win, they need to win the turnover battle and get into third and manageable to make it simple on Jason Bean. A shootout is a very real possibility, but can North Texas be disciplined enough to not make the mental mistakes that have ruined their chances in the past? I need to see it against a good team to believe it. MeanGreen247’s predictions: Matthew Brune: Rice 38, North Texas 28 Colin Mitchell: Rice 35, North Texas 32
  12. https://www.underdogdynasty.com/2020/11/19/21574704/2020-week-12-preview-rice-owls-north-texas-mean-green-c-usa-saturday-november-21 Prediction Both teams will come out of the gate a bit rusty, having last experienced in-game situational football in October. There is definitely shootout potential in this one, especially if that rust becomes evident through missed tackles and blown coverages. North Texas has a slight advantage offensively, but Rice presents the much more potent defense in this matchup. The key matchup to watch is the running back trio of DeAndre Torrey, Tre Siggers, and Oscar Adaway III against Rice’s powerful linebacking corps. Blaze Alldredge and Antonio Montero have been sharp on their assignments all season long, and they’re aiming to build off of magnificent performances against North Texas from last November. Expect Jaelon Darden and Austin Trammell to trade blows in an offensive showcase. In the end, Rice’s defense will function as the separator and the unit records enough stops to lift the Owls to 2-1. Prediction: Rice 38, North Texas 33
  13. In case you want to get in an additional game at Apogee, Celina will be playing Iowa Park on Friday for the Regional Round of 4A D2. Although Iowa Park is green & white, I'll be cheering for the hometown orange & white from Celina. I'll post ticket details when they are available - GO BOBCATS!

  15. Is San Antonio open? Are tickets available for the game? Will the game even be played? TIA & GMG
  16. The ice cream coupon may get used, but not sure about rest of it. I guess they needed to clean out some storage files in at Apogee.
