I whole heartily agree. I am standing up clapping figuratively. It's main reason their constant helmet changes always confused me. I think the old school eagle with the NT in the middle could have been iconic by now if they stuck with it. And stop changing the shade of green we use. Crimson Tide has never messed with the shade of red they use.

Great collection, the flying worm and the eagle with the NT in the middle have always been my favorites.

Now that a great retro helmet, they should bring that one back. The one they have is great so I am content they just continue to use it long enough to make it iconic.

Is that an actual helmet UNT wore? I have seen a lot of different helmets but never one like that.
