  1. USF is a neutral site game lol. A big P5 gets to go play in a NFL stadium in a big city in Florida. That's a no brainer.. really. You can argue that Orlando and UCF is a big city market, but to me it does not have that stigma of a big bad P5 stepping into the little brother's home stadium.
  2. I'm curious on price. I like this style of seating,
  3. Good point, only one way to find out really. I do think it's a bit of a different situation here in Texas. There is a big alumni and fan base of Tech fans in DFW, compared to Nebraska going to Chicago or DeKalb. But I do understand the point you're trying to make. TT just seems like one of those Big12 programs that wouldn't buy out or control a series like a Texas or Oklahoma would.
  4. I heard it was to make room for their new and improved forum
  5. That would suck... What reason would they have to buy out that game? I think that game in Denton might help them with recruiting purposes. Anyways, Wag Tag said it.. But The Houston game next year should be our first sell out game. Houston travels very well, as we saw in 2011 and I went to the UH v. SMU game last year and Houston fans were everywhere in and outside the stadium. Obviously we need to annihilate ACU, beat SMU, hopefully upset Cal.. Get that momentum going like last year to energize this fan base for the UH game!
  6. Please show that part of the crew this..
  7. Can we please just stop the game after the 3rd quarter?
  8. Center needs to sit the bench. 1 bad snap can happen, but 3 in 2 quarters is embarrassing...
  9. Houston will probably be our first sell out crowd. That's going to be a sight to see.
  10. That sucks for them. He looked promising for their future.
  11. Cougar King already got mad about this ranking yesterday lol. I pretty much agree on your assessment with TCU/Tech Houston could be debatable. 2nd half UNT might prove Vegas right though.
  12. Not really sure how this works, but doesn't SL get extra money for winning a bowl game on his salary? Or is that money paid to him if he brings his teams into a bowl game post season and doesn't have to win to get it?
  13. Somebody let Cougar King out of his cage again..
  14. Lol I remember watching this in 2012.. Couldn't decide if I was angry at being called a cupcake or laugh at the fact that this guy is really a thing. Somebody give Mean Green Man a call.
  15. UNT always playing down to their opponents... we finally won in San Antonio though.
  16. Just as a refresher, does anyone remember or know when they start making bowl invitations and announcements? More particularly, the bowls we have been projected in.
  17. I'm on the side that Mason should have just not said anything about that. It's a little disappointing that this was even talked about when UNT gave him his only shot at D1 college football. He'll stay here though..
  18. That place seats 64,000 people too.. That place is going to look sorry. At least we're taking over SA for the weekend haha
  19. The narrator was saying "UPDATE: a couple days ago the stadium was knocked down, with a few swift kicks to it's foundation" I drove through Denton last Saturday and it was still there, the way it was the last couple of years. Did they flatten it completely yet?
  20. I get that. And we would all support them if this was what they wanted. Just hoping they can go to a bowl we can travel too, I'd prefer not to watch the game on TV this year and actually go see it in person. Hawaii is to expensive.
  21. This might sound selfish.. But goodbye to any hopes of being able to cheer, tailgate, and converge with fellow mean green fans in person for live football...
  22. Yeah, hopefully this is an evening game. Regardless, Houston will be the best traveling fanbase for 2019. UNT fans need to prepare, because there will be an overlap in red all over the stadium.
  23. A lot of BYU vs. North Texas. I wonder if a lot of sites just piggy back off ESPN projections? BYU in Dallas is the best choice I've seen in the last couple weeks.
