  1. They're close but still different. Oregon's seems to be a bit darker https://communications.uoregon.edu/brand/color https://identityguide.unt.edu/create-our-look/color
  2. Probably. I remember us worrying about Morris for a while because he was busy finding the right staff and now we're all excited about what guys like Coach O and Coach Gilbert are doing. I expect Hodge will find some quality players in due time
  3. Here you go. https://javelinaathletics.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/coaches/johnny-estelle/1658 https://missouristatebears.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/coaches/jase-herl/942 Similar JUCO backgrounds, and looks like him and Herl might've been at Colorado State together for a year or two.
  4. Really feel bad for the kid. Feels like that injury really messed with him. Every time he was on the field he just didn't look right
  5. Not good. We need guys with his size on the DL in the 3-3-5. I have no idea what we're gonna do with all these 240 pound DE's we've had the last couple seasons. Also really feel bad for Gunnell. I feel like that injury really messed with him.
  6. Found out I won't be able to make it out on Saturday, but would love to be able to watch. I know we're not streaming it, so any help there would be appreciated. I'm sure others would like to watch as well
  7. That's Gumms, who's from the Houston area. Robertson is from Plano
  8. Even better, lets make sure to put it on the side of the helmet so everyone knows who we are 🙄 UNT for academic branding, SOW for athletic. Should be that across the board.
  9. I'll say it until I'm blue in the face: Until we become even remotely competitive with SMU, UTSA is our rival.
  10. Man y'all are brutal. I think 6-6 or 7-5 are pretty reasonable
  11. Definitely feels like they're bigger. I don't know if Rogers is run first per se, but the O-Line was getting blown up when he was in, so he kinda had to make something happen.
  12. I was at the scrimmage and agree with @SilverEagle's thoughts. Ruder and Earle were the best two QB's, with Ruder being ahead as of right now. I have no idea what happened to Gunnell, but he's a statue back there. I would never go so low as to compare a QB to Josh Greer(Gunnell is no doubt miles better) but that is the closest recent Mean Green QB I could think of when I saw him today. Maybe it'll get better, but not a good start at all. I'm not sold on Rogers, sure he can run, and his O-Line was letting him showcase that by not protecting him well, but his arm didn't impress me much. On the Defensive side of the ball, these dudes were flying. Looked good at all levels, and really laying the wood on a few hits. I expect the defense to be ahead this early, but still it's an aggressive unit that is gonna make plays. WR's looked good for the most part, and the run game did well (Adeyi and BK Jackson in particular caught my eye). Kicking was a bit rough, but we'll see. My son decided he was not interested in football so my observations were a bit limited, but energy all around seems good, and I got to meet Coach Morris. Seems real down to earth, definitely excited to see him lead the team.
  13. Plan on taking my son with me. Gotta get him indoctrinated early. Plus I'm really eager to see what the new systems look like
  14. According to the spring roster we have 4 https://meangreensports.com/sports/football/roster
  15. 9 Catches for 109 YDs and 2 TD's in seven games played.
  16. He was there for the whole team picture if I remember correctly. Also hard not to tear up when Hodge was talking about all the former players and coaches, and especially Mac. You can tell those two really love each other and while it's a bummer he's not here anymore, I'm definitely excited for Hodge to take the reigns. You can tell he really cares about his players
  17. My thoughts exactly. Same from Chrisdon Morgan, who someone said might be transferring.
  18. I'm not saying Hodge has been THE coach of this team for the last couple of games, but they sure frame it that way with the halftime stuff. Almost no Mac outside of the first speech. Good video
  19. Postgame Press Conference
