  1. https://www.harrellpassing.com/ ^^I'm fairly certain he sees plenty of QB's(and WR's, TE's, and RB's) here. And will recruit accordingly. Having Harrell, and in turn his dad's high school connections/name will be huge. He is considered a "great offensive mind" because he's been under Leach forever and picked his brain. He has a complete understanding of an effective Air Raid offense.
  2. Already been proven false. http://footballscoop.com/the-scoop/ As far as hires go ^this is the only site your can trust IMO
  3. I love it. Going from Mac's philosophy of "Iowa, walk ons, whats recruiting, florida, our whole team will be walk ons because we don't have to recruit" to "every coach on staff, including the head coach, will recruit their asses off". Its a new day indeed gentlemen. And I for one, couldn't be more excited.
  4. Hopefully Littrell's offense is so potent we can hang 45-50 a game and compete via shootout with these teams, because we are screwed otherwise
  5. Caralla gone too? Good. Our kids look tiny and slow compared to when Wintrich was here
  6. Maybe he took a lower salary to allow a larger assistant pool. Or at least I hope he did
  7. For those curious without twitter he did update his twitter info/picture https://twitter.com/SethLittrell
  8. This is good news for us regarding Harrell. Hopefully he'll be joining the staff
  9. Not the biggest fan of Capper, but this statement is beautiful to see. Exactly what should be happening
  10. a man can't reveal all his secrets. I just know my source is credible and has inside info. Harrell's name is the only one I've heard as far as potential staff.
  11. I think the main difference is Littrell is a former FB, was an RB coach, worked with stud running backs like Tevin Coleman. Make no mistake we will sling it with his offense, but he will definitely run it when needed. Something Dodge apparently couldn't do. Note he keeps saying "multi-tempo". I think if the gameplan dictates we run the ball 40 times in a game, I wouldn't be surprised to see Littrell do it
  12. Plus with his annual QB camp he sees a lot of recruits that we could bring in/offer. It would be foolish not to try and get him in my opinion
  13. He's only the outside receivers coach at Washington State so I'm assuming he would get a nice pay raise and job opportunity. Last I heard Littrell was talking to Harrell about being his OC
  14. Yes he does. He won 26(?) straight conference games here and took us to four straight bowl games. Something that had never been done before. He was screwed with horrendous facilities and conference. Plus our AD is a giant douche so they hated each other, hence his leaving.
  15. You're right. Goree and Rutherford's impact was minimal this year, in a new system it'll be interesting to see how they adjust. You are right. With the current QB situation other teams will still load the box with 9, even from the spread simply because there is no threat at QB.
  16. Well he's gonna have a hell of a time fitting Mac's Wing T recruits(square peg) into a air raid spread system(round hole). Just my 2 cents. If we are top half of FBS offenses next year I'll be extremely impressed and excited. I trust he will do better than Mac, but he will have to be incredible at adjusting, especially with no QB.
  17. I think if he stays the length of his five year contract, getting to a bowl game 3 out of the 5 years should be realistic, maybe the first year or two is a flub because of recruiting. Once he get's his recruits to his system, he should have all the tools to be successful year in and year out.
  18. I know he had a knee Injury earlier in the year, but Dagan Haehn lives about 15 minutes away from Denton and only has one offer. Just saying, I think he deserves more than a look from us http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2158731/dagan-haehn
  19. Just like when Mac said "Iowa is Florida, and Florida is Iowa, National Championship". Went straight downhill from there
  20. Ben Gooding definitely strikes me as a fan of Florida Georgia Line
