  1. Thank you for answering my question. I am personally having a hard time investing in UNT Athletics, and was legitimately trying to find the reasoning in it. It's good to see the logic and perspective from a large money donor.
  2. He does like to refer to himself as coach last time I checked, but that's besides the point. And this is a serious question, but is it some sort of 10 year plan that he has ya'll sold on or something? Because what he's been doing as far as coaching hires hasn't exactly worked for 15 years. I mean I tend to look at 5 and 10 year trends for stocks before I invest to see what I'm going to get out of it. UNT Athletics has been trending down for 15 years now, kinda seems like a bad investment to me
  3. The question is, if this is what you and the other "large donors" believe. Will there be financial action if RV continues to lose? I'm curious to know
  4. Swinging for the fences. I like it. McCarney wouldn't have touched this kid with a 12 foot pole
  5. CATFIGHT!!!!! SOMEBODY THROW THEM IN A MUD FILLED KIDDY POOL
  6. Ah Sweetwater. The wind energy capital of North America. It's a good little town. Don't know much about their football team though. Hardin Simmons would be a good choice for him. Close to home. Hope he changes his mind
  7. Oh I wholeheartedly agreed with you about us missing DT. I thought he was vastly underrated. Just don't need to be reminded every 5 seconds
  8. I think at this point Vito is just trolling GMG with his "The QB hasn't been a position of strength since HOD CHAMPION MVP DEREK MOTHERF***ING THOMPSON LEFT IN 2013" in every article.
  9. But has he done anything as a head coach at a G5 with a losing culture? Have you seen his horrendous recruiting class? His AD sure isn't going to help. Does he know this? Does he know that he can save 15% in just 15 minutes or less on his insurance by going to Geico.com? Does he know that I've donated a substantial amount of money every year and seemingly have nothing to say for it and now I'm a bitter old man who complains about everything? If he doesn't change these things. He can and will be the greatest failure in the history of North Texas coaching. All I can say is shape up Mr. Littrell.
  10. Do you understand the term "sarcasm"?
  11. I personally was bored out of my mind. Halftime was boring, and the commercials didn't do much. Last year's super bowl was much more entertaining overall IMO
  12. If Littrell's offense is as effective as I hope it will be we would hang 80 on them
  13. I know. It makes the wait for the spring game worse. Only a couple more months ugh
  14. I said it on Twitter and I'll say it again. I am so hyped for this coaching staff/Season. This looks like a present day football program. Everybody here is saying pump the brakes, but it's stuff like this that gets me pumped. Littrell gets it. He's swinging for the fences and I love it
  15. Typically pregame with 4-5 shots of Evan Williams, then a couple beers at the stadium. At home? Ridgemont 1792 on the rocks
  16. May God have mercy on their souls. I hope Richmond can score 60 a game
  17. Texas had the #13 Defense when Tech beat them in 08 OU had the #19 Defense when Boise St. beat them in 07 It's not likely that we'll win, but it won't look like UNT@Iowa 2015 either
  18. Our new offensive scheme will put us in a position to be competitive with every team on our schedule, including Florida. If we lose I think it'll close and competitive, rather than losing by 40 every game like last year.
  19. I'm gonna just get this out there now before anyone else. I call dibs on this thread: RV SUCKS. HE REALLY REALLY SUCKS
  20. To add on to that OK State is typically one of the top ranked wrestling schools in the nation and Stillwater has the National Wrestling Hall of Fame
  21. As long as we can stay on the field longer than 3 downs. I forgot what that's like
  22. It'll be interesting to see. I hope they utilize Wilson and his downhill running abilities, maybe from the pistol? He's too good of a runner to not use him. Ivery is much better in space and could work from the slot a lot. I mean look at Kingsbury. He had Washington rush for 1100 yards last season and they threw the ball 60 times a game. So I think Littrell and Co. will utilize the running game more than a typical Leach air raid
