About a year old but good to hear Hodge talk about a variety of things. Never heard of these guys, but they had some good questions.

Found that interesting as well. Feels like it had to have been purposeful. Now if they hire somebody other than Hodge we're gonna look dumb, but I think he's the guy.

No Idea, but if Mosley sticks with Hodge to replace McCasland, count me impressed. Hodge was highly successful (146-24) at Midland College following McCasland's NJCAA Championship there. Although not successful at a lower D1 like Morris or Burton, the continuity makes up for it. Now the jury's still out on if these guys will be consistent winners at UNT, but something tells me they will be.

Everything I've seen he wants to be a head coach. I imagine if the opportunity is afforded to him, he's gonna take it. Much like Mosley under Baker, Hodge has been with Mac a long time learning from him, so I imagine the transition would be smooth, and we'd continue to do well. Back to back years of the number 1 defense in the nation is pretty hard to say no to if you're Mosley.

That could also be part of it. That's just how I understood the position. I could be completely off base

Pretty sure they coordinate food, activities, tours, lodging, etc with recruits and their families as well as coaches who visit. Basically make it so their visits are seamless and as positive as possible

Wonder if they're recruiting tight ends to actually play tight end or for the versatility. Get a guy that's 6'3-6'4 and 240 lbs and can run? He can do a lot for you. TE, DE, Linebacker, Big receiver, special teams.

How do we know its OU? Could be anywhere. If it is OU, and it's because of Seth, then my view of "he's a good man, just a bad HC" will go to "he's both a bad man and a bad HC", and I will be even more thankful we fired him. But let's see where the cards fall. He might go to Cal with Bloesch, or LSU, who offered him out of high school, or hell with Deion at Colorado. I guarantee you plenty of P5's would love to have him

Joe Golding would be an interesting option too. Mosley hired him at ACU, so the connection is there.

If Hodge wants to go elsewhere, I wouldn't mind looking at Scott Cross. Had a couple bumpy years at Troy, but has been respectable the last two, and was amazing at UTA
