    It is. It was also unbearable vs Army. Being able to see every single missed defensive lineup and miscue during that one was miserable.

    The knock on the defense was a valid comment and was said with kid gloves on. Defensively, we were a joke. An unfunny joke. Hopefully we'll be less of one in 2018. That's TBD and IMO easily the biggest uncertainty going into the season.

    I've always been conflicted about entrance requirements and why they are in some cases significantly dipped for athletes. You can get in to X school, or you can't. There should be no gray area. IMO, simple as that. And for the very, very select few schools that have held to their academic standard, kudos to them.

    There is truth and value in everything you said. But until I see it not work, there is no way 68 "G5" university's couldn't band together and flex their muscles. Truth be told 30+ "P5" university's would join us in the flex. Bow our necks, put our foot down and call BS on the pigeon holing the NCAA and the money hungry top 30 programs have done to the rest of college athletics. Until I see it not work, I roll my eyes at every weak back pos that concedes...AD, Prez, coach, fan, mascot, water boy, etc...pos. And if you're not bringing it to the forefront, you're conceding to what currently is and you're a pos. This is the attitude you have. Otherwise in 10 years, a movement of God is what it would take for us to be on TV again.

I mean what's the damn point of even moving forward with college athletics when our fair right at real D1 athletics is being relegated to a 2nd tier group by media and the NCAA for monetary gain? Our end all is a berth in the wgaf bowl vs the Akron Zips on a Tuesday night in mid December. What's the point.

    I hate that these slap d*ick AD's, commishes, and even coaches have conceded to calling themselves "G5". Grow a pair and demand inclusion. The media and the predators that sit in the NCAA and rich schools created this for monetary gain to exclude our type programs from being able to get a real piece of the pie. And it has worked beautifully for them. The AAC is doing it right...They are looking for their competitive niche (basketball) and they are at least trying to force themselves onto the map.
