He's a center so will probably start in the 2 deep as I am not sure what is left at that position.

Didn't say it couldn't happen but for every 1 Freshman QB who has solid numbers theres 100 who struggle mightily. When you bring in some of the top talent every now and then they're ready to come in and play immediately. You would like to not put them in that situation and let them develop a greater understanding of the game, while learning the system and grow.

Another one DT Sheffield!!! After doing some digging now that everything slowed down. This young man came from JUCO, had about 10 offers out of JUCO, Washington State, Kansas (late) and New Mexico State being the biggest. He can flat out FLY. Holy cow he's going to be fun to watch in this offense. He also returns punts as well. So he added much needed depth there. Great late addition to the class.

This may be one of the best pick ups in the class. Fought Memphis off tough late in the process.

I am out of school and sitting at home very bored. I love keeping up with it, this year was MUCH more difficult than in years past but I love it. This staff has done a really good job in almost every area and I believe they have some more stuff cooking.

99.9% of the time Kickers/Punters are all PWO until they prove themselves and then are put on scholarship. Rarely is a kid brought in at any level as a Kicker/Punter and put on scholarship immediately.

It definitely adds to the suspense... I don't like the reason the portal has become so big but it makes recruiting the right kids into your program even more important.

I hope he's able to do it that would be awesome, but to ask a kid to go from HS to Starting on Saturdays is one of the most difficult jumps to make. They'll bring another QB in without a doubt, but Cash being here in January and having Spring ball definitely helps his case.
