Leaving Pottsboro around 9:00 a.m. Friday. Stopping at On Cloud Nine Winery near Shreveport for a little 'lunch' before heading down to the Big Easy. The I-20 shut down is far enough west that it won't affect us, we get on/off at HWY 69 near near Lindale, so we're likely coming home the same way on Sunday.

Agreed. I was pulling for Arkansas State last night for that very reason. Troy is a good team. our guys can beat them, but only if they are totally prepared. If they don't look at troy as a worthy opponent it will be a nationally televised disaster. I'll be there. Go mean Green!

If this game is at a neutral site like Atlanta or New Orleans, I start thinking about buying tickets as soon as we clinch. As it is, we couldn't make travel plans until the east was decided. (I'm not going to start booking flights and rooms because I'm 'pretty sure' tye game is going to be in Boca)

My wife couldn't come to that game so I brought my brother-in-law. He hasn't been to a game since.

I think he threw the ball specifically because of the offside penalty/free play. The flag came out immediately and right in the direction Fine was looking. If it works, big play. If it doesn't work, 5 yard gain and repeat the down. Smart football.

This is the exact same reason I voted for the Frisco Bowl. I drive past it every day on my way home from work, may as well stop and watch a football game. (I know that's selfish, but I voted my conscience.) Great area, easy access from the Tollway, lots of tailgate space. Inaugural Frisco Bowl, we could forever be the first team that won it.

I've left a few games early because I had someplace to be or was getting terribly sunburned, but have only given up and left early twice. The first time was in the mid 90's against Oregon State. The second was last night. It is me, I am the reverse jinx. You're all welcome. Last night was mostly a math error on my part. I though that even if they just took a knee we would receive the punt with maybe 25 or 30 seconds remaining. I didn't want to run out of beer too early so I drank some of my wife's wine before the game. I blame that.

ESPN College Gameday will be in Fort Worth this Saturday for TCU vs West Virginia. My wife hasn't posted my bye week schedule yet, but if I get to watch it I sure hope to see a big green battle flag in the crowd. Anybody going?
