Rod Brown lost 20lbs?! Now he’s gonna play NT @ 290-295lbs?! Not liking this
With no viable back up on campus, it doesn't even matter how fast and strong he is.

Our DL and LB situation scares me to be honest. We don't have many new faces and this group struggled last year. I'm hopeful Shipley and JJ Jean Louis pan out. However, they are wild cards at this point. We better pray to the football gods that Rod Brown stays healthy. Right now we don't have another experienced guy to play Nose.
DE- Jake Shipley or Vic Alobwede
DT- Rod Brown (no clue who backs him up now)
DE- Fatafehi Vailea or Kortlin Rausaw
LB- JJ Jean Louis or Jaylon Smith
LB- Jordan Brown
LB- Ethan Wesloski
I think LB is a far better situation than DL and that is very scary...

Boy that OL competition is going to be stiff this year. I really like the mix of younger players and seniors. The measurables on the outsides are also better than in recent years for pass protection but there sure are a lot of unproven guys outside. Interior OL should continue to be a strength with the 4 experienced guys vying for three spots.

Also I think if we have a healthy Jones we win the game, that’s how close we are.
I agree but also think Walker needed to have a better day and we'd still have won.

Lucky... if rubin plays when we see them again, we're gonna beat them.

Didn’t Joe Paterno at Penn State get in trouble for “only” reporting alleged sexual abuse to the “Athletic Director” ?
So you ignored the rest of the sentence to post this for what reason exactly?

Baylor's Foster Pavilion is nearing completion and looking great. It'll seat 3,000 less than the Ferrell Center. The new parking garage and existing Robinson Park gives the walk-up an AAC/Victory Park vibe.
Now, if we do want to restart the argument, my official stance: Replacing The Pit shouldn't be a Top 3, or even Top 5 priority of the AD. If/when we get a new gym, my wish list: 10,000 seats, keep the suite/party seats away from the court, and built on campus east of 35E. Unfortunately, 2/3 of those probably wouldn't be met.
You'll go 0/3 on this. Less seats, in the MG village and similar suites as pictured. Not sure it is what it's best but it is what we'll get.

The Louisville Cardinals
I went to uofl for grad school... massive arena downtown off the river... subsidized by the city.
However, the former AD was happy to put corporate sponsors on just about every building and was great at fundraising.

Since when?
Jace retired, Earle & Rogers transfered, Freshman walkon transfered, other freshman didn't make it in, leaving JD Head I believe.

WTF!!! is the defense doing, guess looking so damn clueless and causes UAB to call a TO!!! LMAO!! Only at UNT
It is the most UNT thing ever that we get our luckiest bounce of the season when it kinda doesn't matter.

I was told that President Bataille made it clear that no football coach would make more money than her, thus substantially limiting the field. She was a disaster.

Rogers has been fantastic. Is this the result of having a QB coach?
I think it's the result of having a qb. We previously had a baseball player, a sprinter, a linebacker, and an undersized TE playing behind center.

He sure is but I also would like to point out that Robert Allen is going to be a huge addition as well.
I recall catching some flak on the board for suggesting Allen would start over Sissoko when he signed. Can't replace skill.

45 points and they scored whenever they needed to. I think their "plays" were due in part to their offense getting complacent with a big lead. I do credit the effort of the players but there was nothing special about what they did. Memphis didn't run enough in the second half. I said earlier that they should not have 25 pass attempts or more if they managed the game correctly. They had 4 attempts on that last drive to get them to 28 attempts.
All fair points. Caponi will still get another year though. Wildly overpaid for what we've gotten.

Honest question: do you think he didn't tell the players to keep them inbounds? Or to tackle. Hell, there was a player there to make a play on the touchdown.

I have seen improvement in the defensive scheme. The players are not making the plays.
