agree...loved our throwback traditional look...but needed the matching traditional helmet from the same era. green helmet, one white stripe & grey face mask

yes...I'm not on Facebook but had two friends both forward different UNT coffee cup images to me last week. I assumed it was trending in social media. "You can't spell PUNT or C_NT without U.N.T." I say all the more reason to brand/market sports & spirit gear with our letterman's interlocked NT....just like North Carolina, Southern California & Notre Dame.

agree...but majority of P5 schools use letters to brand & market their sports & spirit gear...Michigan, Wisconsin, Norte Dame, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio State, Nebraska, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Baylor, Purdue, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Miss State, Arizona, Syracuse & Alabama "letters are better" unless you're getting an on-line degree, delivering the mail or selling big-co insurance -

for us...the interlocked NT would be a more collegiate look for sports & spirit branding...think A&M, Tech, Auburn, WV, VT, OU & "North Carolina" in Mean Green and less USAA insurance, postal service & U of Phoenix on-line... -

anyone else see the irony...when UNT90 damn near craps his pants with outrage by posting "Joe Pa Knew for 35 years"...article about boys getting raped at Penn State...yet is somehow is defending the Baylor Bunch when their women are getting raped... What does UNT90 want? For Baylor victims, their friends, their family & advocates "men or women" to keep quiet... also ironic when one narcissist (UNT90) calls out another narcissist (Dale Hanson)...

Briles isn't going anywhere...many others will fall before their Golden Goose does... Everything I have read or heard says baylor has reported little to zero criminal misconduct on/around campus or by their students. One ticket radio host basically said if you're going to cheat...you can't score a hundred every time/year....it's unrealistic...but that's baylor...

agree...unfortunately that's what happens when you let a silver haired, mustached, sweater vest belly full of popcorn make any "design" decisions for a large university. These look way more "arena league" & less "collegiate". Just another example of how we continuely keep doing it wrong... thanx "our v"

the "cover up culture" at Baylor doesn't surprise me a bit...it's in their DNA to deny truth...being good at football only compounds the problem.

2016 March Madness is over, but I keep thinking how hard would it be for "NORTH TEXAS" to brand & market like "NORTH CAROLINA", OU, Syracuse or Villanova. Expand our Brand...simply add the interlocked NT to our "Sports & Spirit" gear....just like North Carolina's NC but in GREEN. -

...always kinda dug Colorado in the Big 8 & Big XII too bad Texas ran Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri & A&M out of a once great conference. Their football program declined after they stopped recruiting heavy in the Lone Star State. Hats off to their Marketing & Branding team. Like most P5's they have a good handle on what looks good. I wish that NT could take our Green, Black & White & do what CU does in Gold, Black & White... cool video...thanks for sharing!

Rice vs Texas a "faux home", away & away for $3M...who really cares? I keep thinking...as far as athletics go....screw Rice...I want North Texas to be the Universty of Houston. I want to be the G5 team that the almighty TEXAS "does not" want to play... Who really wants to be the push over for a pay-check team? I would like NT to grow up and do a little pushing back. -
I was recently at the tolltag store in Fort Worth and noticed the Specialty Sports Branded Tolltags. I was happy to see that "North Texas" was included but still disappointed that we choose to brand & market our stylized bird-word logo similar to an on-line college, a large insurance company & the postal service. (I quickly created a simple version with the interlocked NT) The bird-word logo does not scale well...it's too small...and hard to read it from a distance. Letters are better for collegiate sports branding. NT needs to continue to push to expand the brand and market the interlocked NT for our spirit gear...just like North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma, Southern California, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech & West Virginia. -
