If you actually think that Louisville, NC State, VT, PITT, and GT are going to willingly commit financial seppuku to join an inferior Big 12 then there is no reasoning with you.
The ACC isn't going anywhere b/c (thankfully) the commissioner isn't a total idiot. Sorry champ but them's the breaks.
Those schools you mentioned have already reached out to The Big 12.
Also Louisville and Pitt have 100+ year historic rivalries with Cincy and WVU respectively. Keg of Nails and Backyard Brawl will both be owned by the Big 12 soon enough.

Yeah b/c Arizona, Colorado, and Utah are not already in a bizarrely configured Big 12 where they'll be roundtripping to such lovely destinations like Lubbock TX, Manhattan KS, Morgantown WV, Cincinnati OH, and Orlando FL.
If they wanted to join the ACC, they would have joined with Cal and Stanford.
We already tore the Pac 12 apart, the ACC is next.

Might be a year or two sooner but its going to cost them a FORTUNE. ACC will then use that war chest to raid the Big 12.
Just because SMU got blocked from joining the Big 12 doesn't mean that anybody wants to voluntarily join the ACC.

Lol UNT is gonna destroy another generation of fans by choosing to go to FCS again.

Then what is the best BBQ joint in Houston?
Triple J's smokehouse
Ray's BBQ Pit is a distant second

Almost all of these are wrong. Truth definitely isn't the best BBQ in Houston.

We're clearly just like Notre Dame.
ND is dedicated to the God of Roman Catholicism.
BYU is dedicated to the God of Mormonism.
Baylor is dedicated to the God of Evangelical Protestantism.
SMU is dedicated to the God of Money and Finance.
At least you guys aren't pretending to be a Methodist school anymore

Meanwhile, back on topic, does anyone find it interesting that neither Jason nor the team has announced his decision?
When that happens that means coming back is highly likely.

So so sad.
Evidently you think highly enough about it to name yourself that.

Our All-American, Player of the Year, soon to be NBA draft pick Point Guard got injured while we were winning our Sweet 16 game.
Youre talking smack about things people that several of you knew that DIED without ever seeing anything remotely close at UNT despite being fans for decades. Instead of going back and forth with you, it's easier to call you stupid.

A$M took it to overtime against your "walk-ons" and nearly sent you home!
Nearly sending us home is still a loss.

If he went to Houston y'all would have him riding the bench unless he suddenly gained a bunch of discipline in his fast break, ball handling, and learning not to be a messy inaccurate hero at the end of close games.
Appreciate his contributions. Hope your check is big and you actually get to play where you go.
This is true. If you don't have good fundamentals then Sampson won't play you. This is why we were able to send our walk-ons in against A$M and still win.

Remind me again why we care about Houston? Never been in the same conference, we play each other like once every hundred years, and you are hours away from Denton geographically. Y'all have a great team, but I don't see UNC fans coming on our board to talk about how great they are. If they did though, I would give them crap about losing to NC State.
This is the general March Madness thread.
If I had made a separate thread about this then you would have a point.

Funny, I read the same thing on the Iowa St board tonight about you all.

The margin was the largest over a No. 1 team since UCLA beat the Cougars by 32 in the 1968 Final Four."
LOL

We pulled the starters out in the 2nd half since we still have the #1 seed and already won the Big 12 in the regular season.
Remind me again what tournament UNT will be in, you're talking smack when you guys would get ran off the court against us.

Texas Tech wasn't a challenge either. Crazy because these are tournament teams with 4 and 5th seeds.

$aban went from MSU to Dolphins, to LSU to Alabama and got more $$$$. Of course schools are going to get richer and poorer, that was already happening with the TV contracts. Agents, attorneys, scouting services and eventually outside equity potions are happening and there is no turning back. G5 needs to wake up and have its own playoff and championship!
Actually, he went from MSU to LSU, LSU to the Dolphim then Dolphins to Alabama.
Saban found out in the NFL that he couldn't compete on a leveled playing field.
Elite college coach but an average NFL coach.
