A thread and poll were started on RowdyTalk that asks who we would want to play in the CUSA Championship Game. So far, UNT has received the most votes. (Rivalry/Not a Rivalry, right?) What do y'all think? Would y'all want to play the Roadrunners again this year? Who instead? I understand there's a still a chance neither of us could make it to the Championship Game and I also understand that some folks don't like discussing anything past the next game. That's cool!! We do have a parachute drop in the Alamodome. A bunch of HEB gift cards are dropped from the rafters via parachutes.

Here’s some Alamodome game day info for y’all: The main parking lots, B and C, are generally only available for season ticket holders to purchase. However, passes can be purchased online from private sellers. The lots open 6.5 hrs before kickoff. Nearby parking can be found in private lots in the surrounding area or across the highway in the downtown area. There is a pedestrian walkway to cross the highway from the downtown side. Additional downtown parking info: Parking Map (sanantonio.gov) There are also Park& Ride options: Park & Ride Events - VIA Metropolitan Transit (viainfo.net) There will be metal detectors to pass through before entering the Alamodome. There are multiple entrances to the Alamodome. Check your ticket for the recommended entry location for your seats. Very important! The questions were apparently adjusted differently for everyone. Most of my questions related to UTEP but I ranked them 3rd out of the universities that I consider rivals.

The UTSA President, the AD, the head coach and the band director have all responded to this unfortunate event. This was an accident and we own it. This was not done out of malice, anger or resentment. The UTSA Band Director, Ron Ellis responds:

It should have been a blowout win for y'all last year but for some reason the games between the Roadrunners and Mean Green are always close. ("Rivalry!" "Not a Rivalry!") The average points margin is 7 with the largest being 14 in the 2016 UTSA victory in the Alamodome. (31-17) I feel this is y'all's game to lose but I'm expecting (hoping for) a hard fought game from both teams. And a Roadrunner victory of course.

We don't start playing UT until 2022. And then every other year until 2030.
