  1. If Trey Norris really is being that good an ambassador for Benford and co then he is quite the tremendous person.
  2. 247 also confirming the offer. http://247sports.com/Player/Sampson-Saluone-67127
  3. 6'2" 192 lb safety from Skyline. We have offered. Also holds offers from UCLA, Wisconsin, Washington State, and Memphis. Surprising that we offered him almost 3 months after we offered 3 of his teammates. His body fits the mold of the outside linebackers we've been recruiting lately. Probably a safety in college, but something to consider. 4. He's a mid-term enrollee. He plans on enrolling at whatever school he picks in the spring versus during the summer before fall camp. He's uncommitted.
  5. 6'2" 230 lb linebacker for Hutchinson CC, one of the top JUCOs in the country. Has a star studded offer list including Cincinnati, Washington, Miami (FL), and now us. Originally from Louisiana, where he had signed to play for Memphis. We did offer him out of high school and were recruiting him (also offered him then). Plans on enrolling in the spring semester. Claude George mention in a GMG thread when we were recruiting him out of high school: Highlights: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2697821/claude-george-jr http://247sports.com/Player/Claude-George-16921
  6. 6'0" 180 lb safety out of Ridge Point. Has a very impressive offer list including schools like Arizona State, Utah, Colorado, Indiana, Maryland, Kentucky, etc. Interesting to note that his lead recruiter at Indiana is Noah Joseph. We offered today, along with Louisiana Tech. Father Jameel Cook Sr. played in the NFL for the Bucs and Texans. 7. 6'5" 255 lb aptly named offensive lineman from Yukon, Oklahoma. We appear to be the first to have offered. Highlights: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1494793/shane-block http://sports.yahoo.com/kentucky/football/recruiting/player-Shane-Block-148781 http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/_/id/188134/shane-block http://hsgeorgia.scout.com/a.z?s=37&p=8&c=1&nid=7195264
  8. Keep the rivalries/long-time conference foes playing each other. It's not solely geographic. Missouri is in the SEC East despite LSU, Ole Miss, Miss State, and Alabama all being longitudinally more east than Mizzou.
  9. May have been the only time we could've been on FS1. SN: Another downside to playing 11 am on a Saturday, as it pertains to recruiting, is that most high school players are busy watching film. Not trying to be too nitpicky, just a minor detail.
  10. You think you'd be excited about the prospect of kegs and eggs.
  11. https://twitter.com/ejsports4/status/471832232198279168https://twitter.com/gabrieldbrooks/status/471831474610896896 Recruiting sites are slow for us because we don't have any subsites. But we have offered.
  12. Eastern Michigan and now Nevada (as of today) have offered.
  13. 6'2" 200 lb linebacker. Had 126 tackles last year, along with 31 tackles for loss and 6 sacks. Has picked up 8 crystal ball predictions in the last month for Baylor, so he appears to be theirs to lose. Also has offers from New Mexico, SMU, Texas State, Duke, Tulsa, and us. 14. He's listed as an offensive lineman by the recruiting websites, but I think he could be a legitimate D1 prospect at defensive line. I really like his defensive film. Gets off the ball great and knows how to use his hands. It can be hard to showcase your skills as a nose guard. Constantly taking one for the team getting double teamed nearly every play, knowing your job is to free someone else up to make the tackle. But we'll see where our coaches want him.
  15. 6'4" 223 lb defensive end from Millwood High School in Oklahoma City. Has offers from Iowa State, Purdue, Washington State, Texas State, Tulsa, and us. Highlights: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1896469/joshua-little http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Joshua-Little-160406 http://247sports.com/Player/Joshua-Little-63679
  16. Vito's recruiting series blog entry on Clark: http://share.d-news.co/aHd8JnV "I might wait to see until the end of the summer and then commit to UNT." Sounds like we're in pretty good shape.
  17. 6'3" 262 lb lineman. Played both offensive guards and nose guard on defense last year. District 5-5A honorable mention a year ago as an offensive lineman. Highlights: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/602217/creighton-barr http://247sports.com/Player/Creighton-Barr-62154 http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&c=1&nid=7522163 http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Creighton-Barr-156937 http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/_/id/197064/creighton-barr
  18. 5'11" 180 lb cornerback from Denton Guyer. Was a first team all district selection a year ago. We have offered Highlights: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2250400/demarcus-owens
  19. SEC football coaches trying to propose for one, most likely proposal will be for the first Monday after Thanksgiving.
  20. 6'4" 270 lb offensive tackle from Beaumont. We offered about a week or two ago. Also holds an offer from SMU. Highlights: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2786874/ken-marks http://northtexas.scout.com/a.z?s=353&p=8&c=1&nid=7782198 http://247sports.com/Player/Ken-Marks-66401 http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Ken-Marks-165103
  21. Still this kid's only offer. Has a lot of potential and we only have one true left tackle on our roster currently in Antonio Johnson, who's a senior. Hopefully we can seal the deal on this kid before his senior year. A big senior year and Hughes could see a lot of interest turn into offers.
