  1. That is pathetic! The bowl is in Frisco. Jesus those clowns can't drive 30 minutes down the road. How are we doing on our ticket sales?
  2. McDonald was the starter most those games... It makes no sense. Rest is not the answer. I mean look at the stats too... McDonald has only had 43 tackles this entire season. EJ had 100 and had to sit around half the time. It was silly and hard to watch all season.
  3. Yeah but as we saw for some reason Ejiya was not on the field all the time. Which still blows my mind. Why he would be sat to play McDonald is beyond me.
  4. We really do need some work at LB. BG is great but we need a compliment real bad. Glad Colton is gone. He transferred in and worked hard, but just did not impress me at all this season.
  5. Wow that is trash. So is the other one.
  6. If Coach Lit took the SMOO job he would be a back stabbing piece of shit, and guess what? He is not any of those things. Coach seems like a great guy who would never consider this move. Now if he got offered a job at a P5 school, I could see that maybe happening. However, he has it pretty sweet now. Sumlin has proved his self as a winning coach in the SEC... Not sure he would go to SMOO. Now if he has no other offers he might go for it. They could pay for him for sure.
  7. I was one of the ones that voted against it. My youth at UNT was spent going to shows, pounding drinks on fry st, and drinking coffee at Kharma - Personally, I wanted to see the funds go elsewhere. For example the fine arts and music programs. However, the logic there is silly... Those programs do not have the same needs as a world class athletics program. We had/have a great school and better athletics make it greater. No, Athletics is not like other programs, clubs, or groups at UNT. Most clubs and groups do not have the needs and require so much to stay a float or grow. These kids work hard and have for many years, in most cases. They deserve to have the support of the fellow students to help them achieve the goals of the university. We are North Texas... and We are a better North Texas when our sports teams are in the forefront of our peers. It is hard to see past the haze when you are young. I, as a young guy who loved the arts could not see past it myself. Hopefully, these young people are smarter than I was.
  8. What a ding dong. So, he will have to miss like one quarter the first game of next year against like Liberty University.
  9. Wren Baker is a badass! He is smart enough to see how this is a issue for attendance. Then he is even smarter to let these young people walk with athletes that will be playing in the bowl! I love this guy. Even if it does not result in a huge boost in attendance, it is a special moment and glad he is willing to work with graduates.
  10. Good having you! Always good to meet good folks. I mean... I hope our guys kick yalls ass, but still nice to meet you. Ha. Should be a good game. I think our Defense will match up well with you guys.
  11. I have seen this done for other teams but this might be my favorite yet.
  12. This team, our team would get killed by a team like Tech. That should be obvious to all after that display. Not sure how some of you thought was a good idea. I want these seniors to get a bowl win.
  13. He has a great attitude and clearly understands the concept of "TEAM". Love watching him play.
  14. I am not on the twitter, but someone needs to send that to Wren right now! He might show the players. Priceless. Where is Austin when you need him.
  15. Nice uniforms and everyone loves Hambone! One of my favorite players.
  16. I remember that game. Kid has some powerful legs. Plus speed. Don't think we would get him though. He could go almost any where.
  17. I think the d is what it is. Offense will need to score every time they get a chance.
  18. Should be closer. Nic Smith, blocking schemes have been better executed lately, and better control of the Mason Fine long ball may be the difference.
  19. Nope. I have seen them play. Got my masters at TCU and watched Tech burn them deep a few times and the have lil Orr ( The great Zach Orr's lititle brother) at corner. Plus, the rest of the Frogs Defense is pretty good. Just not sure our guys could handle that speed on the outside. Hell if our guys get a chance to play Tech I will be screaming my ass off, and will have faith we can win. However, I think there are better match ups out there for UNT.
