Sorry to hear that. I hope things work out for La Tech.
I'm content with the new CUSA, not much difference replacing Charlotte with a Kennesaw St

I hear that Judy is going to invite Devry, Southern New Hampshire, and the University of Phoenix next. The conference will be switching to a for-profit model to make up for the loss of revenue from the schools that left.
you heard wrong mister, we were turned down by University of Phoenix because they have a thing against Liberty

Joe Biden is the President.
Biden also said if you vote Republican in a few weeks that inflation is going to get worse

Judy is diluting FBS football as fast as possible and no one is seeningly willing to step in and stop her.

All due respect for Tech but I would like to explore some new horizons and play some different teams. I would like to play Texas State for instance.
how about both?

I'm sure Dr Wood could set up a potential long term deal when it comes to basketball

I thought for sure that CUSA would hang on. They have bowl contracts and an NCAA auto-bid. But, man! every one is leaving.
Also, after all those years of praising LT for doing so much with so little, it's almost as if they wore that with a badge of honor and chose to sit on their hands and do nothing. I wonder if their facilities/budget factored into what is happening to them. I'm thinking most likely, but what do I know?what's wrong with our facilities?

Doesn’t need to be in conference. Probably bowling or sand volleyball. Whatever has the least travel expenses.
I've always thought golf is the cheapest sport; assuming you have a course

No, you’re thinking bylaws. He’s talking about laws that are into both remaining & leaving schools. Different strokes for different folks, man.
no I'm not, UNT agreed to an exit fee and can't just decide they don't want to honor that agreement because they're leaving

I have no idea what’s in the Bi-Laws, but seems 9 exiting members could vote to waive the fees.
you don't get a vote anymore once you make your intentions to leave a conference

If I were La Tech I’d go Indy’.
They have the balls to do it & to be successful doing it.then how would we collect all those exit fees? that's going to be too much money to leave on the table

I do find it kind of funny that a week ago CUSA wanted an alliance or merger with the AAC and the AAC was like, naw, we will just destroy you.
except they didn't destroy CUSA, outside of UAB & UNT, the AAC took a lot of our dead weight

Does/Should Liberty change G5 OOC Scheduling?
in Mean Green Football

Did y'all consider that Liberty has tried to schedule P5 teams and for reasons we all know, they were told NO. Should Liberty be penalized for that?
