you guys played a solid FIU team and a possible heisman candidate in keenum and now you face bama. i would get discouraged yet. your non conf schedule is rough this year but once you get into conference play i expect you guys to do much better. winning conference games and getting a softer non-conf schedule in future years will drive this program back to where it belongs. im sure coach mac would have greatly taken a B- in his first 2 games at ISU. we had doughnut and 1 win seasons when he first started so just give it time guys. i think i heard you guys lost 58 of your last 71 games IIRC thats a big rebuilding project (similar to what ISU was) it took dan about 4-5 years to make ISU decent so just give him time

too bad the man of steele from iowa state wont play in denton and then you would change your mind about keenum. hes been absolutely clutch in the past 2 games and is getting a lot of national recognition (texas fans want our QB for a change)

i think you guys (sunbelt) are better than the majority of the wac after next year with the realignment. i think with nevada doing better in football, fresno almost beating Nebraska and utah state almost upsetting auburn and being a solid bball team, and with hawaii beating colorado this year in football i think they are better right now. However, FIU and Troy are solid football programs as well. UNT will be on their way up shortly with dan at the helm so i think the sun belt will move up the rankings as a conference either next year or in 3-4 years. i also think you guys are closer to the MAC then the rankings show as well

well ISU may as well start looking towards the big east in hopes of an invite. hopefully the man of steele can give us a good season the rest of the way so we look more attractive to them. i really hope we dont lose our AQ status but its definitely a possibility

you guys are lucky to have coach mac. his start at ISU was rough but he eventually got us to #9 in the nation. you guys will return to dominating the sun belt in no time

they are only being held against their will because they are going back on a promise. it should matter to BYU if the big12 collapses because they will just go back to being independent anyway. they might as well try to get into an AQ conference and helping return the b12 to prominence after this conference realignment is done. ive also heard rumors of ND/Pitt/Louisville also have been asked to join as well. im just ready for this greediness and stupidity to finally be done with so we can concentrate on football saturdays and not wasting our time with this

i really hope the b12 stays together but right now as far as i know baylor wont give up their right to sue unless OU is committed to staying in the b12. we are hoping BYU would be interested (b/c they would still be able to keep their tv deal) and hopefully force those basterds from UT to give in to equal revenue sharing. ive also seen that UH is still hoping to get back into an AQ conference after the SWC fell apart but i really dont see that happening. our other option is to hopefully join the big east which would be a distance 2nd place
