In an attempt to get this thread at least somewhat back on track....assume everyone is aware that Brian Waters is also the recipient of the the UNT Alumni Association's "Distinguished Young Alumni Award". I believe Brian was presented the award in 2012.

Really excited to see Brian Waters wearing the silver and blue. Welcome home, Brian.

Coconino High School in Flagstaff Arizona. Graduated 1982 and played two plus years of varsity and honorable mention tailback. At the time we were a 2A school which would be equivalent of a 4A Texas school.

I would like to but recuperating from knee surgery after the football game in April. Meniscus and Micro fracture surgery doesn't bode well for this game. Maybe I'll be ready for next year.
