For what it's worth, I looked it up. Stanford is currently the fourth best college in the US as ranked by US N&WR. Rice University is ranked as the 15th best college and Tulane University is ranked as the 44th best college.

I think it's a grand idea, greenjoe! Let the naysayers say what they always say but, I say celebrate with whomever you can whenever you can wherever you can! I live in Sun City Peachtree, Georgia, where there are 1700 homes and I can guarantee if we staged the North Texas Homecoming Parade here, there would be be a minimum of 1700 households in attendance and most of them would dress up in green and decorate their golf carts in Green! And then maybe, just maybe the following season would see an uptick in support from those wonderful people!

I'm over here in Atlanta where it just turned midnight which means that I'm one of the first Mean Greeners to experience the feeling of our new conference. I highly recommend you stay up another hour there in Texas and take it all in.
