I think UNT should have a watching party at the stadium!!! Show the game on the screen! There is a watching party for fans at Clark Park at Highland and Ave C. They are brining in a Mobile HD Truck and there will be food, games etc.

Why is everyone seemingly calling for Coach Benfords head? We DO have a better record than last year AND it is our first year in C-USA which is a better Conference than the Sunbelt. Seems a step in the right direction to me. Coach Mac took 3 years with the football team. Perhaps we need to give Coach Benford a chance.

[Chances for new uniforms in the 2014 season?]

I really like the look of the black and green. It would also be sharp to take that same uniform and make the black area green and the green area white... Do this on both the jersey and pants. Then take that "green" one and reverse the colors again for our "white" uniforms. As far as the helmet. Are we a big enough time school yet to have two? Could we have green helmet with the black SOW like the one that debuted on Halloween, as well as the a black or Carbon Fiber one like from the Heart of Dallas Bowl?

[2014 North Texas Football Schedule]

I love it!! A great schedule for a team on the rise! Bowl eligible should be no problem (man it feels nice to be able to say/think that). UTSA as a rival... sure why not? They came to our house last year and took the Division Championship right from our hands (and didn't even win it themselves). Perhaps when we meet this year the meeting will be for the goods again and we can give them a taste of their own medicine. GO MEAN GREEN!!!

We absolutely need to get Xavier Washington here for a visit. Good size and quickness for that size. According to Rivals he has shown interest in Rice although they haven't offered him anything. He has 7 offers on the table including 3 in state. In addition to UNT the other in state offers are from Houston and UTSA.

I hope BB fairs well closer to his family and am glad he had a season to remember as part UNT's Historic Century team and Heart of Dallas Bowl Champions. I'm sure it is something he'll never forget. As far as the future of our QB's in this upcoming season... I trust the combined knowledge of our coaches. Once camps start, they will put the guy in there who will give us the best chance to win... Our job as fans is to support whoever it is at that time. Until then... all we can do is speculate. GO MEAN GREEN!!

[Pedestrian Bridge - PAINT THE RUST GREEN!]

I completely understand the environmentally green building of the bridge and all the environmentally green things that UNT is renowned for. I am very proud of everything our school is doing in that area. I also understand that the GENERAL PUBLIC has NO IDEA that the steel on the bridge is anything but rusty metal. I am just thinking of how we can improve the image to those people and promote our Universities image to them and perhaps to future students.

Definitely add some green lights... they could be solar powered. Perhaps if it can't be painted... maybe a green stripe on the main horizontal beams as an accent? This could even be done with a "wrap/decal" material rather than paint (if it would stick)?

I also think that the "wing" in Apogee would be stunning at night with some green up lighting.
