I believe the SEC said that but they are at 13 and would even them out and Missouri is an AAU. Can't see why they won't get the invite. Unless Baylor starts crying again.

I've been on the fence about UTSA but I think they would be a good addition to the belt or cusa (along with us). They have a great TV market to themselves, and yeah they suck now but in a couple of years they could be really good. Look at FIU. If smu and houston leave I would love to have some away games in a reasonable driving distant. What better place than the river walk. Plus we MIGHT actually have a rival or maybe multiple rivals (Rice, Tulsa, UTEP). But Lets get to CUSA first.

Exactly. The teams Left in the WAC are there for a reason. The WAC WITHOUT DOUBT will be worse than the SB next year.

I think many on this board need to realize that no school has accepted the invite yet, and there is no guarantee that any team will. Also, if all the schools do accept, like stated early, there is no guarantee we will get an invite. People need to stop counting their chickens before they hatch.

There is not guarantee we get into conference usa. Apparently CUSA and MWC are merging and it does not say they are adding any teams( doesn't mean they are not going). But there is still no guarantee we will be invited. "The two conferences affected by the Big East's expansion plans -- the Mountain West for Boise State and Air Force and Conference USA for UCF, SMU and Houston -- announced Friday they would form a 22-team merged league in football only, with two divisions and a conference championship game."

just heard that on espn radio but no mention of uh or smu.

If we do get over 15000 I doubt it will be over that number by very much (Assuming rangers are playing). I believe in previous years at homecoming are #'s were floating around there. I don't think we will see 25000 again this season, but i hope I'm wrong.

If Houston leaves I see cusa reloading with La. Tech. Surely we would be in the mix but once again i see SMU keeping us out. I hate to say it but SMU probably needs to leave if we want into Cusa.
